Girls, I am trying to induce AF so I can get cracking on the next cycle and specifically time my transfer (rebook flights and accom etc). I've taken the Pill previously for only 6 days, stopped and AF arrived 4 days later. Has anyone taken the Pill for a shorter amount of days to induce AF?

Sorry to hear that Tahli. After all the waiting etc that you have to do first it's really crappy to be cancelled. Hopefully you'll be able to get sorted quickly for the next cycle.

@Tahli Don't want to waste yr embies either. Waz would not schedule transfer if lining thickness was less less than 9mm at Day 12. I too have had a cycle cancelled....but was cos I had high FSH at the start due to taking DHEA and a folicle that hung around and it is a pain.. I hope you can overcome this.

@Petulia - The embryoscope is a remarkable piece of equipment and I highly recommend including it as part of your journey, if you can. Beyond it's scientific expertise that it lends to the team at CFC, it will yield you a remarkable video that will demonstrate the time-lapse of the growth of each of your embryos. Once you receive confirmation that you are "booked" to have access to the embryoscope (and this is very good advice from @Tahli), make sure you take with a large memory stick on transfer day, so the CFC team can copy your video, so you can take home.
It's one more remarkable part of this journey that CFC makes available.
    Best of luck!

@Petulia - I too did the one-off depot injection, and can also reco it highly. I needed to have it administered by my local doctor, as it needs to be intramuscular and my hubby wasn't yet the pro that he is now at providing these to me ...!
Was quite expensive, but given I'm in Canada, that may be totally different for you.
With so many other medications and shots to worry about and administer, many of which we needed to keep track of once we had already commenced our travel, not having to hassle about down-regulating over a period of days with one more daily medication, was an added relief.
    All the best!
