Hi jo anne, if you want to use a surrogate i suggest contacting familes through surrogacy. They offer info on different options for surrogacy in Australia and other countries. I emailed Sam and got a response the same day in regards to some questions i had about surrogacy in Canada (doors closed currently to overseas patients) and ukraine. Not a country i have ever thought of but he suggested a clinic called New Hope. Its all still new to me and im in research mode at the moment but just thought i would pass in info to you. But also like the girls said you can make your own embryo using donor egg and donor sperm ☺

Nope I haven't really found any of them but i havent really asked either. I have just used my Immune doctors protocol because he knows all of that 'part'. Non of the drugs have ever clashed with each other. I took what CFC want me on in to my Dr here and he has worked with that. I was with Dr Wiswedel for 3 transfers and now im with Dr Metebese to see if she would change anything. She didnt so basically Im looking at her as my expertise in transfering my embryos, the rest is in the hands of my immune Dr, my body and the gods. X

Also doesn't recommend that I take clexane... which I've always just had in case. Feeling more and more like I want to switch to Dr Heylen. So worried something won't work again with this transfer.
I have the same issues and wondering whether my current FS will prescribe/treat me for all that while I cycle in sa.

You can only ask @Caesardust, and if not figure out another way to get your hands on it. Have you got left over scripts from this cycle for the Pred and Clexane? He's done intralipids for you so hopefully you'll be ok on that front. He believes in immune issues so at least that gives you a head start!
After Dr W's departure from CFC I did wonder whether the other FSs might play it a bit conservative for awhile until they find their new groove. I wonder who is heading up the clinic now?

Thanks @Tahli. I don't have any scripts as they don't give them to you. They just send you straight to the pharmacist who has it on file I guess. I have left over everything though. I'm hoping NL will be willing to help but not charge me an arm and leg to do so.

I'll be doing the pred from this end and will be getting my hands on some more clexane as well. I have 5 shots left from my last ivf cycle and will ask my FS for another script. - unless someone here has some leftovers they won't use and want to sell me!
I'm not sure what dosage of pred to take though: a past FS advised 10mg from day 1 until 7 weeks (if pos preg), this latest one has me on 30mg for a week, then 20 for a week, then 10 and so on. What dosage did others take?
And I've noticed the down regulators are totally different from anything I've had here before. I've usually had orgalutran.
Can someone also explain to me what the intralipids are and when they are taken? I can't find them on the list of medication CFC gave me.

@Caesardust If it's any kind of guide LB charged me $400 for the first cycle to write my referrals and scripts. And then for some of the others she charged $200. @emski72 gave me a good tip which was to always ask for 3 X hcg and progesterone referrals so you can repeat when you like and I always ask for 2 X lining scan referrals instead of the 1.
@Petulia My Pred dose has differed on different cycles from 10mgs to 25mgs. Getting higher with each failed cycle. Last cycle I tried Dexamethasone instead. This cycle I'm going back to CFCs original gentle suggestion of 15mgs of Pred because my body is exhausted from all the meds.

I booked the donor back in Oct also making it more frustrating
And we have to be back by last week of July
    soooo frustrating!!!
I've been asked if I can get there earlier to do it before she goes away. This confuses me more because I've been previously told that my donor was donating for someone else just before me so I thought that I was already on a tight timeframe to get things done on the days they had initially told me. So far haven't been referred to another specialist there. Waiting...waiting....waiting.
