I wanted to choose my own donor so that was a big part of going to SA for us.

Just jumping threads to say hi to @infinity888. Welcome back. I haven't attempted DE but remember reading one of the ladies going to Hawaii was doing gender selection. I think the US is pricey though.

@emski72 firstly you are a star for answering all my questions. Thankyou. I get more from you ladies than anywhere else. Am i right in thinking they choose for you in greece? But sa allow you to choose. Also sa and greece are similar prices? @faithandhopellove hi yes i am making small steps back. I still haven't made any decisions yet. I think 15 aus is really my limit atm so Hawaii is probably out of my reach as is usa California. Hope you and bub are doing well.

@infinity888 yes thats my understanding. I believe they choose a donir for you and possibly have a backup as well. In sa you can def choose your own donor. All the best in your decision making.

    Hello @infinity888
Yes, these girls are the gurus to ask, I've learned so much since I joined this thread! I read somewhere that in Greece they choose the donor for you based on hair, eye and skin colour, also height and weight.
You've prob already looked at the SA donor agencies? So a lot more info and choice, but pros and cons to both I guess. Best of luck to you xxxxx

As Em said, definately no gender selection in SA. Apparently Dr W used to get lots of requests for it though!!
Welcome to a few of the gorgeous Over 40s girls, .
