@Mimimoo I am ironing in the lounge with hubby in mancave doing work with tv on. I am praying he doesnt chanel surf. How dare they even question the kids. Saying kids to IVF are untested. I feel sick. I feel really sick. All the cancer and high risks from us doing IVF. Is it a scare campaign or is this information we were never told? Its not helping. My god Im angry.

    Desperate housewives looks bloody good...

Hubby and I did have the conversation about untested IVF babies before we decided to start this journey @Billie2 but we didn't touch on the side effects for me. I'm sitting here quietly crapping myself and trying to be all "it's ok, I was aware of all this". Yikes, hell no!! Hubby asked how long we would try for 😦. Hope your hubby didn't touch his remote! As for this household, it's now Netflix and chill 😓

@tjuls I focused more on the experts and not the stories. I see the atories on here. More succeed than not so I would ignore the women trying for 7382 cycles. Just for our own sanity. I read on BubHub a lady mentioned we are absorbing tax payers money. Here's a red hot tip, us infertiles dont take maternity leave. We work full time to pay for the whole baby making process and beyond! My career catapulted because of infertility. I wouldn't be on my salary in a high tax bracket if we were fertile!!!!

Well four corners was not what I was expecting! What a scary and depressing show! All my dh could keep saying is " hmm it's makes you wonder hey" ( in regards to companies making so much profit on others misfortune) it definitely portrayed a negative view of ivf. But that one woman who did 37 cycles!? What is everyone's thoughts on the remarks about ovarian cancers and side effects later on in life??

@StephyG I never thought of any health issues till my event. And cancer etc..? Blah, How much healthier can we get!? We do it to conceive. Your fate wont be determined by your want to be a mother. Not in this day.

Ill take that risk. My mum had a hysterectomy at just over 50 due to a cyst the size of a 16wk pregnancy. She had 5 kids naturally. She never drank or smoked.

I could get run over by a bus outside Primary..

    Such is life...
