Awesome! Thanks so much! I will get that started then. Hopefully they will accept some of my other testing!
Another quick question - I've heard that they try and push you to do IUI first? We don't want to do IUI as I reckon it's a waste of money. We have unexplained infertility (every test comes back perfect!) so if we were going to be able to get pregnant just by shoving sperm up there it would've happened by now! I don't want to spend our savings on something that has such a low success rate. Is it true that they don't let you go straight to IVF?

Sorry I can't answer that one? We were referred straight to ICSI as we are MFI...hopefully someone else on here can shed some light on that one

Hi @LaDiDah I only know one or 2 which were refered for iui and they were mostly pcos with high amh and started on low doses in the hope to get 1-2 eggs and then if they got more eggs then IVF. We are only pcos no make factor and went straight to IVF

@LaDiDah.. I dont know about Primary in Preston but we weren't pushed into doing IUI although our fs suggested we could give it a try since ww have 2ndary infertility. When we asked the cost difference, which is pretty much the same for IUI and IVF, and we were eager to get started, we opted to go ivf. The success rates for IUI is slightly lower than IvF but successes have happened with IUI.. @hopefulangel1987 fell preggers on her first IUI (?) So it does happen. It's only a matter of time and patience
@Cassidy.. with FET it all depends on ur body.. so if u ovulate late, ur FET will be later unless they get you to trigger and you wont know that until ur scan. So u do a BT starting from cd9 or 10 and then every 2nd day. If ur BT shows u're starting to ovulate, BT and Scan will be done on cd12.. otherwise continue BT every 2nd day.
Once they've confirmed that ovulation is imminent, they will schedule ur FET. Prog support will be advised to start one day before the transfer.
I hope ur first FET is the one hun.. xx

@LaDiDah my FS gave us the options of IUI and IVF but did persuade me to lean toward IUI more. I was scared of the injections etc. We had 2 attempts, first got a bfp but ended with miscariage, second attempt was a BFN. So we went straight into IVF after that.

@tjuls woo so proud of you no poas !!!

I have no action happening, AF was meant to come last week but NOTHING, called primary yesterday and the nurse said to wait until next thurs and see if AF shows.
