We had the lovely Dr Nic for transfer this morning, first time we have met him, he was awesome! Said our blastocyst looked textbook perfect! Our other one is doing well, and hoping it will make it to freeze, the other two are a bit slow but they are going to see if they can catch up for freezing, probably not likely though.

Dr Nic was so interactive, showed my DF and I on the external ultrasound exactly where he was going to place the embryo then let DF hold the probe in position while he placed the catheter and the IVF scientist did the transferring! Made DF really feel like he was part of the process! So now we wait, blood test in 11 days 😊

Congrats @onedaymaybebaby for being PUPO. That's one beautiful lil warrior blast! Hello darling! We want to see you in pics in 9 months too, so stick around and be good for mum! Good on Dr Nic, that is just awesome, both with u/s and hands-on!

Yay @Lilipingu, that's awesome news, what great numbers! So excited for you for Wed!

@hopefulangel1987, EPU is really dependent on what the BTs and scans show, but I think on average is about 12 days or so? Quickest seems 10 days. Primary only does EPU on Mon, Wed and Thu, so usually it's the nearest day around CD12 I think. Don't trust me 100% tho. LOL.

I hope all goes smoothly for you too @ABG79 - agree with @tjuls, could be various reasons for the different tests. The patience will pay off big time for you hun!

Hope everyone is having a brilliant weekend and Happy Mother's Day to those who are mums and to all of us who will be mums soon!

Hi everyone! I've been away for a while so haven't been on here..
I just have a few quick questions..
Does anyone know Primary's procedure on going from one failed cycle straight into the next? And about taking primolut (or another medication) to induce a period?
Any info would be much appreciated!

Hi @Ashe87 it's been a long time hun.
Im assuming u are talking about after a failed stim cycle? If so, if u have frosties from ur stim cycle, you have to wait a cycle before u can do a FET. If u come out of a failed stim cycle without any frosties, I think u can go straight into another stim cycle . @LillyM - is this correct?
I can't comment on primolut or other meds to bring on af as I've never had to use it.
I hope the other ladies can give u further information.

    Hi tjuls!
Thank you, how are you going? I haven't been able to go back and read over everyone's posts, there's been too many so I'm hoping I can see how everyone is going over the last few pages..

Yes, I meant after a failed stim cycles, it just worries me as I don't get a regular period so having the month off could end up being months.. Especially if I'm not allowed to take primolut..
    Thanks for your info!

Any further info regarding primolut would be great!

Well done @Lilpingu on your massive haul of eggs and for having 7 fertilised! Fingers crossed all progresses well x

Oh, @onedaymaybebaby - your little embryo is beautiful. Please stick embie! Hope you've been putting your feet up, resting and relaxing all weekend.

Thanks for the acupuncture recs @tjuls and @VickyP. Do you guys take Chinese herbs as well? Lily Liu is great at bringing forward my ovulation but as I mentioned, I think it's more to do with her herbs than her needles so not sure if I should switch acupuncturists since the nurse recommended to stop herbs when stimming. Hmmm...

Hi @Ashe87! Sorry to hear you had a failed stim cycle. I'm waiting to start my first stim but af is not having a bar of it and so I'm currently on CD46 (usually 31-39 day cycles!). The nurse advised me to wait another week before doing any tests / taking medication to bring it on. I'm no help but just wanted to say hi and hope af comes sooner rather than later for you!
