@Tahli I'm so sorry they cancelled it. I can imagine you must be devastated. Do you get the opportunity to talk to them too or is it all done by email? I hope they have a good plan for next time. Hugs
Girls, I need some practical help. I stop all meds this morning, so no Synarel. When should I ovulate and thus get AF? It's not like stopping progesterone where I get AF 4 days later. Am I so down regulated that today would be like day 1 of a normal cycle thus ovulation would be in 14 days or should I ovulate in a few days time? I have 7 follicles all under 4mms.
I just rang my airline. The only option I have is to change the date at a cost of $330 plus the fare difference. I can only fly to SA and I must change the dates by Tuesday.
When in the heck do I change the date to if I don't know when I'm going to ovulate? My LP is always 14 days so that bit is ok to plan. Help!!
@Tahli gosh that makes it hard to plan, you poor thing you must be so effin' over it. Can you call LBs office and ask for her advice? She knows you well and knows your doing CT so surely she can help advise you on a solution. Would it be feasible to think in exactly a month after the estimated transfer date you would be ready for that again or is it likely things will take longer?
Another thought is is can you transfer the embryos to Australia?
Is is there a cycle protocol that you can do in order the get you ready for a specific date again that they can put you on?
sorry I know I'm only offering more questions, I just wonder if there are other ways of getting a date set. If
if you cancelled the flight do you lose all your money?
Just another thought, if you can actually transfer the embryos to here even with a significant cost, would it be comparable to cancellation fees/potential future issues which would incur more costs etc? It could be a way of it being a much less stressful endeavour as you wouldn't be needing to add in the travel logistical stuff which is a big factor if something doesn't go to plan
@Tahli I am half angry for you and half philosophical. I think maybe they are just as desperate for this to work as you are. Maybe over compensating on the lining requirements is there way of doing everything they can think of to make this next cycle work. Not sure about the ovulation thing. @BlondeinBrisvegas are you at home?
