@tegs26 this guide might be helpful:

This is what happens in a 5 day (blastocyst) transfer:

1 day post transfer - Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
2 days post transfer - Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
3 days post transfer - Implantation begins, as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
4 days post transfer - Implantation process continues and blastocyst buries deeper in the lining
5 days post transfer - Blastocyst is completely implanted in the lining and has placenta cells & fetal cells
6 days post transfer - Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the bloodiest
7 days post transfer - More HCG is produced as fetus develops
8 days post transfer - More HCG is produced as fetus develops
9 days post transfer - HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on HPT

    Hi,

DS is sleeping so back for personals:
@tegs26 - good luck with your double pupo!
@Tahli - thanks for the welcome, if this cycle fails I'll try dr M. I notice you are taking metformin. I took it for a looong time and never got use to it. It was suppose to help with miscarriages and weight loss. I know women that swear by it but it was poison for me. I tried different dosages, times of day for taking it, different brands, the extended release but they all s.*.ck. I have iron guts when it comes to food normally but I had random diahorea not from fatty food and any time I was nervous I'd get the runs (sorry if this is tmi). I also had migraines and dizzy spells. The whole time I took it, I never got a single bfp so I will never know if it helps with miscarriages!
@Charlie74, I am an old girl from'72 so you are young to me My due date would have made me 43 but DS made it out early. I spoke to my GP recently about being too old to ttc and he said he had a current patient who was far into her natural pregnancy OE and 48years old. I was surprised by that one!
@Gagingi - I'd never heard of ademosis until my last pregnancy. I have been described as having a 'bulky' uterus which is a symptom so it's something for me to look into. Thanks for the suggestion
@Bongley - I am getting bt's every 2days to check my levels. My p4 usually nose dives around 5 weeks and did so even in my successful pregnancy. The highest mine usually gets is around 80 even with pessaries. With DS it hit 100 and I was stoked. Enjoy your 24 week scan, I know I relaxed a bit more after that as the baby is considered potentially viable in the outside world from that point. The scans are fascinating.
@Amie99 - this is a rollercoaster, take it easy on yourself.
@MamaKas - congrats on your bfp!
    @AnnaMM - I am also obese.

FS#1 gave me a lecture that fat people shouldn't breed at 2 separate appointments. She did run tests found nothing wrong and gave me the worst Pap smear I have ever had. She also charged me $280 for each appointment X 2 for DH and I. I wasn't due for a pap smear but she insisted and did it anyway so I'd 'get my money's worth' - I still want a refund! She also made a mess of my medical history and her version keeps living on!

FS#2 wouldn't give me Ivf unless I lost 20kg, I seesaw' and didn't, she wouldn't give me fertility drugs as I have twins on both sides of the family, she did do IUI. She didn't believe in progesterone support for me, I think I would have had success if she had.

FS#3 thought as I was getting pregnant regularly and my amh was low so I should try OI first as ivf could slow me down. She also thought my issue could be that my eggs don't have enough energy to make it passed 5 weeks and something about meiosis. I was due to go back to discuss pgd/pgs 02/2015 but was pregnant with DS.

FS#4 is following #3's OI with IUI plan for now. Due to my age I don't thing OE Ivf is an option for me now so no next step planned there.

Hello to everyone else! Looking forward to getting to know you all!

@Deskar I am 47 and failed with one try with OE. Second attempt was DE at City Fertility with day 3 3 & 4 cell embryos. Complete waste of time. Went to Greece in late March and now 8 1/2 weeks pregnant. Scan next week. My problem was not getting someone to give a large woman IVF, it was getting them to give me a fair shot!

@tegs26 I just jumped onto the Boots website and they don't sell FRERs in packs of 7....the travesty! And not only that but they cost about £5 each which is ok if you're not a Stick Wh~re...but if you are, oh my, what a costly addiction!! Superdrug has a current special on FRER. Buy one pack get the second half price. Good luck!
Venice. So ridiculously jealous. Love it there. The romance. The theatre. The history. Ahhhhh.

I am a slug. A worried sick slug who is hoping to reach close-a-bloody-enough to 7mm in the morning.

As its only been 4 days I predict 6.8mm. I want to throw up with nerves. I'll pop back on around midday tomorrow.
