@Deskar Welcome to the thread Luv. 👋

You haven't offended at all!! Unfortunately many of the Lovelies here will be able to relate to you having suffered MC's themselves. I'm sorry you've had to go through so many (((Hugs))).

What kind of testing have you had done to try to find a cause?? Have you had extensive Immune testing?? How about your oven checked for fibroids, polyps, endo etc??

Something's going on there Luv as to why this keeps happening. Has your partner/husband(if you have one) had his sperm analysed for abnormalities such as balanced translocations for eg??

    Hi @Bib,

I've had a lot of testing, nk cells, genetic for me and dh, mthfr, factor 5(? Clotting one) - pretty much the whole shebang. Having had a few d&c's the oven has been tested a few times, also been checked by my endocrinologist this year blood wise.

I use to have 2 fibroids but my DS killed one and shrank the other, it's now 3x3cm. They were both intramural and on the outside of my womb and not considered clinically significant. I was in the 'too hard basket' for a long time. My current OB is the one that suggested treatment anyway and it has worked at least for DS. Will see how we go this time...

There are a few ladies in their very early 50's on egg donation australia. Just thinking about it makes me feel exhausted!

It's funny but I was chatting to one lady at an EDA meetup and my gut reaction was 'you're too old' (I find I have to ignore my gut reaction in times like this or remind myself that many, many men father kids into their later years) So I looked up her profile when I got home and she wasn't far off my age Serves me right. You know when people say "go with what your gut tells you" ? I wouldn't trust mine as far as I could throw it (there's an image)
@faithandhopellove I think starting up the old thread with a new crew is a good idea. I was on the old one and it was good that it was private so you could open up with more personal details and photos. On the other hand a public forum would allow more people to pop in and ask questions, find support and to come and go.........

    welcome @Deskar & @Bradders!

I think we're all spring chickens compared to this lady. wow. is it for real? & after only (!) 2 years of IVF

Yesterday, my bt has received a result of HCG do 4.4 and P4 of 39, this was 10 dpo. At 8dpo the bt had no HCG, p4 was 69 and e2 was 500. I have been put on 3x200mg oripro pesseries and 3x 5mg presnisolone. I am most likely heading for another miscarriage but would love to talk to other women over 40 ttc or pregnant. I am having a hard time.
welcome @Deskar, I think you fit in here just fine fwiw, so nice to see you here. congrats on your BFP! I hope it goes well. you probably wouldn't detect HCG at 8DPO so that sounds ok to me. is oripro progesterone? if not, perhaps ask for some of that. your levels look good though. 10dpo is still very early. if they do another test in a couple of days they'll check your doubling rate.

Yes...congrat's on getting your BFP with him Luv after such a hard slog😊

Have you had a consult with Dr M at all?? Or tried Intrallipids on top of the prednisone etc as well??

Abnormal embryo's are also an added issue on top of it all as well😐

Nothing good about getting older in this baby making business😐

oh hang on, sorry I read your post as HCG 39 at 10dpo. did they class 4.4 as a BFP? it might still be too early to tell. (sorry about this)
@Tahli mentioned something about a resting hcg level - I don't know much about it. do you get HCG levels even when not cycling/natural tries?

I'll stop now, getting myself & probably you confused & upset. sorry
