@Tahli I take my metformin dose 1/2 morning and night and built up 500mg at a time - 500mg a morning for a week, then added 500 at night for a week, then was on 3 doses a day morning, noon and night, for a week, then when I went to 2000 split morning and night. Maybe you should go up 250mg at a time? I hope you adjus better this time.

    Congrats @MamaKes!

@Maxwellsmum crikey! That's scary, you poor love. Hope you are feeling much better and can have a really good sleep tonight.

@Green lady I've got my fingers crossed for you that tomorrow you get good news, all this waiting is such a killer, hope you are doin OK.

@Tahli I too worry about you on that bloody metformin, look after yourself and the spacing out of the tablets sound like a good idea. You can open up in here, that's what we're here for..Have you enquired about the vibrating stork yet?? Was thinking about your visions of putting the drugs away and giving up, this has been a part of my life now for 6 years, I honestly can't imagine NOT having to try and get pregnant/stay pregnant. Sometimes when I think about the prospect of actually getting preggars and having a baby, it scares me. I can't imagine how I will keep doing the stuff I like doing and instead be tied to the kitchen sink feeding the kids! Isn't that crazy. In my head it's been such a long road that I guess I can't actually imagine it happening. I think knowing we are doing de after this has got me thinking that it might actually happen..and it scares me! Ridiculous I know. You'll be great with the triplets

@faithandhopellove my epu is Thursday (for the roll call) with the Lone Ranger! Be nice if they found that other one in there too, I'm going to be a nervous wreck waiting for that phone to ring on friday..and Sunday And then I thought, imagine if the thing was immature..stop it. Aggghhhh!

I wonder if that is the removal of the pathology bulk billing incentive by the Turnbull government? Petition below. If they get back in god knows what Medicare will look like by the end of their next term and how much IVF will cost.

dont you just love how they won't touch benefits for their buddies ie negative gearing but they will look so bloody hard for "savings" in health and education. Sh!ts me beyond belief. People are just out for themselves.

@Gagingi that's one thing that plays on my mind a lot. How many women miss out on trying IVF because of the price? I know of one person in my circle who is very likely in that position (very low wage earners, been TTC for 5 years). I have another friend who given the likelihood of success decided not to try for IVF. I think if the cost was less she might have attempted it. (She is in a regional area without access to low cost clinics). I guess there will be a lot more women like that in the future.

Absolutely @faithandhopellove. Lots of couples will miss out or be in debt for years. I know that the cost of IVF will impact us for years to come and will reduce how much time I can have off as maternity leave, plus impact on housing etc. For those that miss out, many women have significant mental health issues associated with infertility and again the government only offers a token program with mental health plans. We definitely are not a government priority!

The AHoles won't even take the GST off tampons and pads FFS's so what hope have we for the future regarding equality in the workplace/pay/IVF etc, etc!!!!

They'e all as bad as each other too IMO...So sick of the "LNP/Labour Show". We have no real contenders to challenge them and provide a viable alternative!!!
