@Blossom74 I say a word... this is my first one so I think she's trying to get me organised and on top of it.
@Blossom74 I used my sister as my donor and she was 37...but I wouldn't recommend it, and to be honest if she wasn't my sister I don't think they would have done it. She also had a very low AMH...if Warren had been my FS then I don't believe he would have let me do it...of course it was unsuccessful.
Warren's recommendations were always 1. Non Smoker (that is a big deal) 2. Age 20-30 and 3. If possible - try for a Proven Donor...own children or previous successful donation.
We were tossing up between two ladies...one was an occasional smoker but only 21 and the other was a non smoker and had just turned 31...Warren immediately said no to the younger smoker.
Massive love to the women who long to hold their infants in their arms on Mothers Day. Hopefully this time next year you'll be feeling the kicks of your precious babies in your tummies or be kissing their sweet foreheads. My warmest hugs. I know how acutely painful this weekend is for you.
