@JulieMalooley I am getting to the point of just wanting it over and I am only having 1. Kudos to you on still being at work. I absolutely agree with the others that you should just leave off the work stuff once you are gone. You will have enough stuff to do without helping out your replacement. They will figure it out.

oh cool. I met her briefly but didn't get a chance to speak to her properly. they were all very nice. there was another donor there & she was saying there's not as many donors in nsw, or those who are there have already/close to reaching their family limit for nsw. she said there's more donors in qld than nsw.

Thanks for thinking of me @BIB, but with what would have been Blossom's EDD fast approaching I don't think I'm in the right headspace to be Admin over there.

At this point I don't even think I'm in the right headspace to even be joining at all.

I look forward to the time when I am ready, but it's not that time yet.

@Charlie74 I only have PHI hospital cover. Once the annual excess is paid ($500 in my case) each hospital admission is covered. So my intralipid treatment is free. My insurer said as long as a hospital wrist band is placed on me then I'm sorted.
I presumed I'd be pregnant from DE in the first year, so when I did my sums, it worked out better for me to have PHI. I'd wanted to give birth in Cabrini and my insurer covers all Cabrini's costs.

thanks, no DP was interstate so couldn't make it. it was ok on my own as I could move around to different chairs easier than being in the one spot most of the time. more people arrived and another table was added. hopefully he can come next time
