Although there's no defending the indefensible, I shall give it a try...I think the nosefull of Mr Sheen I inhaled whilst dusting just prior to posting may have added to the mental impairment I already suffer from on a daily basis

Not insensitive at all hon, I know your heart was in the right place. Under normal circumstance I'd be thrilled to accept, I'm just struggling a bit at the moment

Do you take them all at night? I was told that there is a limit to what your body can absorb, so dose is split morning, noon, and night. The hassle is you need to lie down for 30 minutes, unless you take it rectally (which I found was quite good with Oripro - I'm now on 3 x 400mg pessaries and that dose stirs up all sorts of side effects).

Being a transfer virgin I'm not really up to speed on when you should POAS - does 11 dpo mean 11 days after egg retrieval or does it mean 11 days after transfer? Just wondering if you still have a few days to go.
yeah I just count egg collection as ovulation day. It is early but I know it hasnt worked. If the embie had of been an early blast on day 5 then I would have had some hope, but given it was a day behind, if they had had another embryo they probably wouldnt have transferred it so Ive never felt this one was going to go anywhere. TBH maybe its good that it was such a crappy cycle as I feel like its the prod I needed to just get moving with a plan thats actually going to give us the outcome we want - a baby to bring home. I just cant keep doing cycle after cycle and living in denial, Ive already done that for long enough!!! I know its just taken me time to get here and honestly, Im here. So thats good.

I will test on thursday so that will be 14dpo and then go off the meds. Then we can start talking to our PD about whats gonna happen. FX she's still keen!!

and then I can start panicking about the money

    Default IVF over 40 #31

@Gagingi - Yep, all at night. I have checked and that was their advice. I am only on 200mg pessaries. I'm a bit like @blossum74, no backdoor action here. I have had haemorrhoids before and couldn't bring myself to put anything there. Definitely an outhole.

@JulieM and @faithandhopellove - my advice would be to finish work as early as you can afford. I finished a couple of days short of a month before and had DS 2 weeks later. I knew that would most likely be the case but I got bugger all done before hand. I wish I'd had longer to be more organised now.

@tuxcat that is still really early, but yes it helps to have your backup plans in place. I ALWAYS had a backup plan and it helps you to change your focus to a positive after a negative. My fingers are still crossed for you though.. good luck @Blossom74 I'm sorry for your upcoming anniversary Talk about great timing by me huh. Are you going to do anything special on that day?

@Deskar I think people know whether they can go there or not . Both my FSs have had me spread the dose across the day, but I think you are pretty happy with your OB, so maybe do what he says? Are you spotting?
