    That's a very good point about the invites too. Although I don't want anyone to feel like they have been 'left out' of the group (and I can't think of anyone here who would not be extremely welcome!) we may have to think about criteria for asking new people in. Some of the ladies on another thread have had experience with a poster who made unkind and unhelpful comments. We want to avoid that if possible. This is a support group after all.

    Agree with all this. I wonder if perhaps existing members should nominate new members to be invited in? As new members of similar...vintage...come through our TTC thread and we get to know them a bit better, we could let one of the admins know and they could extend an invitation to join us via PM.

    I'm going to sound really ungrateful here and say how over it I am. I cannot wait until Tuesday week to get these two fighting bundles of knees, elbows and knobbly bottoms out. My last antenatal appt is today, steroid shots on Thur and Fri, then that's the last of it until next Tuesday. We are to arrive at the hospital at 6.30am. I'm not nervous at all, just very impatient. I was measuring 42 weeks a week ago (when I was 35 weeks) and bubs were well over 5 pounds each back then.
    I had a moment yesterday when I was talking about work and how stressful it is right now and then I thought 'only 5 more days' then I'm on extended leave from it yayyy. It won't be very relaxing leave, but at least its not work. I need to try really hard to NOT check emails and NOT login. My email is available on my iphone, ipad, laptop, it's everywhere I go. I feel really bad for the person who will be trying to fill in for me and will want to try to help him out, but I need to let go. Its a real battle..
    Sorry I haven't kept up with this super fast moving thread... I hope you are all well.

    @JulieMalooley nah its pretty standard at that stage isn't it?! I think most people carrying one get to that point let alone two so you've done super well especially with a demanding job too. You should turn your email off from your gadgets and just enjoy your time off work, they'll work it out eventually, Im sure you'll have more than enough to keep you busy. So exciting, we'll all be here cheering you on and remembering all the sh!t you went through to get here. Its pretty inspiring since Im just about to embark on the world of de...just hope it doesn't take me long to get there..

    it wasn't too bad. since I was still a bit wired from work/stress I didn't have time to think about being too nervous. had a coffee too so that helped. ha

    fingers crossed it's the bfp putting af at bay not the endometrin

    Best of luck @tuxcat, I hope you get a surprise BFP but I know what you're feeling
    @winsor doh, now I've missed you and tuxcat at EDA. You may have met my donor though, she organised the meetup
    @JulieMalooley jeeze I bet you're keen to get to the 24th and meet your bubs, we've always been neck and neck but you pipped me at the post (well three months) I have a feeling your twins won't give you much time to check your devices!
    @tegs26 best of luck today!

    FWIW I was going to suggest nominating @Molros for the private thread (before everyone moved to FB) even though she's not over 40. She's always been a great support.

    That's how it works now with @ emski72 & I as the current Admin

    It's by invite only whether that be by Admin or an existing member seeking Admin preapproval.

    Thanks Luv...as @emski72 said earlier once you're a member you can't be booted (unless you do something incredibly stupid!!) so all the current members who may have gone elsewhere to date are still members so are still free to come & go as they please if that makes sense??
