@Chyna - Good luck with those results hun and hope they don't take too long.
@gorgeousgeorge - Thanks for asking about me hun. I have a repeat hystroscopy and scratch procedure booked in for wednesday and then I start my provera tablets ready for af to arrive at the end of the month for next cycle. It sounds like you have a lot to think about but it's great you are getting lots of different opinions. Great way to be thinking though just focus on the take home baby.
@Gen72 - Hope you managed to get your work done but can imagine you have a lot on your mind at the minute keeping you busy.

AFM - Scratch and hystroscopy planned for wednesday, its good to be taking some action again. I have been healthy eating again for past 3 weeks and have seen a huge improvement in my skin (terrible acne due to pcos 😳), unfortunately I have just spoilt it all and eaten a piece of DD birthday cake.

@Heyside awesome news that your kicking things off again...exciting times thinking of you

Yes my mind tends to wander a lot and it is hard to focus, I think once I have my 2nd BT Monday and DP is home on Tuesday and we can celebrate together it might seem a little more real and less dreamlike

Got a call from ob today saying they can't process my nipt harmony results due to my vanishing twin. So have to rely on my nt scan at 12wks. Really wanted results but nothing i can do 😢

Oh no hun how frustrating, you would have thought your ob would have known that. I am sure the results from 12 weeks scan will be pretty reliable though as the nipt harmony test wasn't available when I had DD although its upsetting you now have to wait longer. Hang in there hun x

Congratulations @Gen72 5 weeks pregnant!! Woo hoo
Thanks for your information as well. I would like to do that counselling - getting all the information and things to consider in a discussion would be so much easier! We were supposed to get counselling through our IVF specialist but because we were told they couldn't help us (IVF wouldn't work for us) we then had no access to that either... will have to look at counselling again as its something I forgot about with all the other decisions to make!

We have looked at the DE from CT now and from spoken to Dr in Greece so it's just letting go of the desire to keep trying to find a way to use OE! My DH is so lovely through it all as well so blessed!

@Rhino Thinking of you :-) I totally understand the letting go thing. I spend a day just staring into space, like i was stunned by the realisation of not having genetic children. It was surreal and i kept thinking "i cant believe this has happened to me". It took about 2 weeks of crying, then once i had my "crazy" donor idea, ive gotten really excited again about the prospect if doing ivf, it actually having a decent chance of working AND getting frosties and maybe having the chance to actualky have more than one child (which was a dream i gave up on long ago). Of course, we all go through this differently but i found that once i got iver the own egg hurdle, ive been so hapoy and my normal self came back. I had a bloidy cup of caffeinated coffee and instead of thinking "im destroying my eggs", I was just like, "yum-coffee is good" Lol! Total weight of my mind. I hope you reach this point too, however you get there on your own journey. Take care mate. xox

@Rhino Oh and, every "what if...?" thought i had about using a donor, seemed like it would also happen to anyone using their own eggs, iykwim. Like, what if they hate me when they are teenagers? Well, my parents are genetically my parents and i still hated them when i was a teenager! Lol. What if they dont look like me? Im a teacher and see siblings that look nothing alike, kids that resemble dad and not mum and vice versa and kids that don't look like their generic parents. What if theres something wrong with my baby? Anyone could have that problem. Basically, everything i worried about related to donor eggs, was something that a person having their genetic child could also have happen to them. And I've been thinking about " who's to say my genes are better than anyone elses?" Honestly, why couldnt my donor be 'better' than me? And...i didnt want to have to make a choice between donor or my own eggs BUT if my options are: No kids at all OR be a mum and have kids using donor eggs, then I'll have a crack at the second option. :-) Soz everyone- ive turned the wazza thread into a donor discussion AGAIN!
