Quick question ladies. We did a FET today and they had to quickly defrost a second embryo this morning because the other didn't survive the thaw.

When we transferred the 2nd thawed embryo the scientist said it had not started to re expand yet and that because it had been only 2 hrs that was ok.

Charlotte and the scientist were still optimistic, but maybe they just have to be.

So, is this common? Are we still in with a chance?

@Tinachris - Yes I am hun but its not having the usual lovely effect think its the prednisone fighting in my system against it 😳.
@mummymaybe - You are most definately still in with a chance. Usually the embryos are taken out early on in the morning so the scientists get to see them expand and continue growing. As your little embie was not taken out until later it just means the scientists just didnt get chance to watch it for and extended period before transfer. Congratulations on being PUPO hun and good luck x

Its probably more like 8am I take it, might be worth trying it earlier thanks hun. I religiously drink 8 very large glasses of water a day so think I have that part covered.

I always take mine at 6:30 in morning. Today was 5am cause I was up. I ate a cupcake with it lol and had breaky later! I'd take it earlier than 8am I'd i were you. It's hard though because you have to eat something, it's not like you can set an alarm, take it and go back to sleep!!

I used to take my prednisone anywhere from 2 -5am whenever i got up for work with a glass of milk. I don't sleep much anyway due to shiftwork. Hopefully your body will get used to it and you can sleep xx
