I'm on a weight loss journey as well.

I started at 124kg in Feb 2014. Had a big break last year from Jan-Sep where I gained back about 2kg of 20kg I'd lost, then refocused efforts and started again.

    Weighed in yesterday at 86.7kg!!

    What I'm doing:

    Eating low-carb high fat (LCHF)
    3 x a week weights with a personal trainer
2 x 10km walks per week (catalogue delivery)

This is the second time in my life I've lost a big chunk of weight, I lost 50kg pre-kids.

This time it's going to stay off. LCHF way of eating is the best thing I've ever done for myself and I can easily see me eating that way forever.

As I'm getting closer to my goal weight loss is slowing. I'd like to be at 75kg which would be in the healthy weight range for my height, and would be the first time I've been at a healthy weight as an adult.

For May I'd like to see an 83-84kg number on the scale.

I have set myself some goals but am already behind... This is what they are:
    Goal - 71.9kg by 02/05/16
    Goal - 70.9kg by 09/05/16
    Goal - 69.9kg by 16/05/16
    Goal - 69kg by 23/05/16
    Goal - 68kg by 30/05/16

I was 72 point something this morning (it wasn't in the 71s so I didn't pay attention to the rest of the number lol) so still haven't met this weeks goal!
However I just leg pressed 75kg (4x10reps) which I'm pretty proud with considering in feb I struggled to do 10 x 35kg. I also walked and ran almost 4km - I'm doing the couch to 5k program and did 5 min walk, 8 min run, 5 min walk, 8 min run, and didn't die doing so. I'm freaking out though coz my next program is just 20 minutes straight of running with no breaks! I'm not sure whether that is a glitch in the app, can anyone else with the c25k app check what their week 5, day 3 is? It seems like a lot to go from 2 8 minute runs straight to a 20 minute run!

Ok, after much dithering I'm joining this thread. I had good success in January but has been a bust since. I've worked out the problem. Work. I am a dance teacher. It's very physically demanding and it makes me ravenous. I always overeat when I get home, no matter what I try to stop myself! In January I was on holidays. I regulated my exercise and balanced my eating and voila! Sigh. I will persevere.

So today hasn't been great eating-wise. It was fine until I got home from work 😑. I use myfitnesspal to track my food and exercise. Today I've eaten 2000 calories and burned 600. When I did well in January I was eating around 1500/1600 calories a day.

I would like to lose 3kg.

Don't be scared @Tamtam! I did it a couple of years ago and if I couldn't finish a day, I just re-did that one next time until I could do it. I've never been a runner, I run like a baby elephant but I'm managing it ok!

You're not a runner until you start running 😉

    Default May Weight Loss Challenge

Ok I'm joining this thread. Starting back at work in 4 weeks. I'm back to pre-baby weight but have these massive boobs that don't fit in my work clothes. I work in corporate and don't have a spare $1,000 to buy new clothes. Boobs need to shrink.

Omg I hadn't even thought of that! I need to check my dress shirts, lol.
