    Default Hi, I'm new :-)

Hello, I'm very new to all this.

I live in Adelaide, am 35 and just have received a fertility test with a very low AMH reading of <1.

I have very irregular periods and am frankly devastated.

I have an appointment with a gynocogist next month to discuss where from here but am expecting to try IVF. Please give me some hope. Both hubby and I are in agreement that if we can't use my own eggs, then we won't try ( no donor eggs)

To add to my misery, I'm fairly nervous about needles, scared of hospitals and never had so much as a simple operation so the thought of going into hospital to be put under general anesthetic to have my eggs collected etc makes me rather anxious and teary. On the flip side, I guess if I do go through all this and do fall pregnant, labour will be a breeze :-)
