Chuck them out then go out and buy another bag and a glass bottle to store them in.

But if you drop the bottle you gotta sift out all the glass shards before you eat them off the floor. I'd stick with Tupperware 😉

Ah this thread is making me lmao. You guys are classic, although tbh I'm surprised so many of you would just throw them out! Er, as would I, of course, no questions asked.

    To answer some questions:

Yes, it was an open bag not a bag with other bags inside.

Yes, it was a chocolate emergency. There was no other chocolate in the house and my friend has no money until pay day.

Yes, the chocolate is coated and therefore rinsable.

On reflection, my friend thinks that 'teeming' with ants is an overstatement. More like 10-15 of the teeny tiny sugar ants...

I think your 'friend' needs to do whatyour 'friend' needs to do. Chocolate is chocolate. Im sure chocolate is the purest thing next to honey

I say it's a great combination of chocolate and bush tucker...and would remove the ants then eat them. Because chocolate.

If I were your friend, I would totally eat them. I'd shake the ants off and scoff the lot. No second thoughts. I'd also say things like "I've probably eaten worse by accident before!" out loud while doing it, but if anyone else tried to share I would tell them they were no good, they'd had ants on them.

Well what kind of "friend" are you @harvs for not bringing this person emergency chocolate?!?

Lesson for today: ALWAYS have a variety of chocolates on hand for emergencies.
