    Default Does this look concerning?

DS came home from preschool yesterday with this on his leg. At first I thought it was a mozzie bite but this morning it's red around and has what looks like a small blister at the bite?? site. It's not worrying him at all. What do you think?IMG_1262.jpgIMG_1264.jpg

My DS's mozzie bites go like that. The redness usually goes about 24hrs after but the bite/blister hangs around for a few more days. Quite often when it's red, there is usually a big lump as well.

ETA: If it's not a usual reaction and you are concerned do get it looked at.

It's a reaction to the mozzie bite, people have varying levels of reaction depending on the type of mozzie and how long it spent biting.

This happened to me the other week and it lasted a week, I took antihistamines for a few days to settle it. Maybe get some kids antihistamines.

If you have any concerns maybe see your GP, I didn't go but maybe would have if it had been DS.
