We've got our eldest at school this year so just discovering the joys of hubby not being able to do the bus run because he's on a tractor. Thank goodness for family.

What time is your bus? We alternate each term and last term was short morning/long afternoon so this term will be long morning/short arvo and need to get them on at 7.20am. Dreading trying to get my sleepyhead 8 year old up and ready to go!

He gets on at 8:30 and off at 3:30, we're the closest stop to school. In the mornings I have been dropping him at 7:30 at a bus stop closer to town but it makes a long day for him.

We've had a big turn around this season. More summer rain than we've had for a long time and feel very fortunate. It's so sh!t for so many. I hope you guys get some moisture.

Me either. I almost hear desperate farmers which makes me so sad.

It is desperate. We had so many friends and some family that had to walk and it's just heartbreaking. DH just goes to pieces at the thought of it being him that loses the family farm. The pressure is enormous. I think it can be so isolating too.

You back down this way again? Last I heard you were in Sydney or something.
