    Default Have you been hypnotised?

So have you been hypnotised? Did it work? What was it for?
I'm interested in doing it for anxiety and to keep me off sugary foods.. If that's even possible but wondering if anyone has experiences?
    It all sounds so interesting.

No one has been? Or know anyone who has? I might have to try it then and report back

Yes but it was just a deep relaxation not like on tv! Only tried it once with a psychologist. They called it hypnosis, but I laid down on a couch with a voice counting and telling me to deep breathe and visualise. Let's face it, there's always an app for that.

Oh that doesn't sound good Tinachris.. Did they say they were going to try treat any issues or just get you to relax? Mine says they will treat issues u have so might be different. I'm just wanting to be sure before I spend $300 on the first appointment.. Hmmm

Yeah I was seeing her for other things and decided to try it for anxiety issues I was having. I've heard the smoking hypnosis can work? I dunno, I wouldn't try it again. Just try it, it might work for u?

Yes to quit smoking. Combined with willpower, and a real and genuine want to quit, it worked.

I have had hypnosis to quit smoking, first person I went to it was one session, no follow up was smoking agin within a week
Second time I went to someone else it was 3 sessions and a free follow up if needed. She also text and called me a few times to see how I was going I have been smoke free for about 37 weeks.
