    Default Baby name

What do you think of the name Adelaide? I love the name, it's an old fashioned name for a girl which fits right in with my other two. However, obviously, you think of the city first! (I've never been there, it means nothing to me (sorry Adelaide-ians :P ) So what do you think, nice unusual name, or no good?

I love the name Adelaide. Was top of our list for a girl. I knew a little girl named Adelaide and she wasn't so gorgeous it made me love the name even more.
I've gone off it a bit now though, only because it's gotten too popular for my liking lol (but i would probably change my mind lol)

Is it popular? I've never met an Adelaide. That actually makes me rethink it because I have two top ten names here already!

I can't remember where or when I read it but it made a list of top baby names (DS was born in 2014 so quite possibly 2 years or more ago) and I was shocked to see it. It wasn't a top 10 name. Finding it in a list disappointed me lol but reading it here makes me love it again.
I've only met 1 Adelaide though.
