I think I would, as long as they could photoshop me to look the way I wanted to!

I wouldn't simply because I'm past the point of worrying about what I look like. If I had $500 that I had to spend I would like to go to a weekend spa where it was massages 24/7, facials and red wine on tap. I'm ok if I look like crap as longer as I don't feel like crap!

I couldn't do it, I'm far too self concious and the images would just stay on a USB/CD. My cousin has done one and she found it very empowering.

Hi Tiny Dancer. I've done one recently (Late last year). Like u I was scared and thought about it for ages before I took the plunge and booked in. I needed a big self esteem boost and chose to do this for myself. I am so so so so glad I did it. I LOVE my photographs! If u are investigating who to go with make contact with them and ask loads of questions. You need to completely trust them and feel comfortable. Check if they will give you direction with posing, how to walk etc. The first part of my session was just on this and it made such a difference to the end result. Also make sure you love the lingerie you will be wearing. If you can't find any bras that you love at the moment could you wait till you have stopped breastfeeding or are not feeding as much? Feel free to PM me if you have any questions. Good luck

@VicPark, part of the problem is that I feel like crap because I look like crap. In particular, since our move, my hair has turned into an afro, and it's been too hot for me to bother with make up because it slides straight off. and because of the heat/breastfeeding, I can't wear the clothes that I like to wear (not to mention I would probably look overdressed/out of place here).
I'm considering it as a present for my 30th. My other options are a sewing machine and associated accessories, or some bling.
@Ngaiz - there is a chance that the images will stay on USB/CD if I do it. But I'm ok with that. I think it is the experience I'm after, more so than having photos printed off that I would be way too embarrassed to show anyone except maybe my DH (and the couple of friends who saw my burlesque dance photo 🙈

    Thanks for the tips!

I'm down to 4 feeds in 24 hours. 3 short ones and a long one. I would buy new lingerie anyway... and I'm starting to wear wired bras again because I am only feeding twice through the day before naps. But, you're right. I'd ideally like to be able to wear them afterwards, so waiting til another feed is out is a good idea.

I have done it Loved it. Ok, granted, I was 34, more than happy with my body when I did it, no kids and gave it to DH as a wedding present BUT I know a few ladies who have gone through the same place I did - some much older ladies, some who don't like their bodies at all, and all of the photos have turned out absolutely amazing. A good photographer really knows how to show off your assets and hide the things you don't like. I had mine done in all sepia tones which also really helps. They also did my makeup and hair. I even have a giant canvas of one of them on the wall, which I never thought I would do! Everyone that comes into our hose comments on how amazing it is. (I am covered up in that one, with gauzy type stuff on the top and a big full tulle skirt on the bottom, so no actual lingerie / nudity up on my wall haha)

I think the hard part is, we're always way more critical of our bodies than our DH's and often things we think are our flaws, they love.
