I have a question which the nurse flip flopped the answer to. What does pregnyl 1500 booster actually do to the body for luteal support? How does it work? What is the point of it. I know it's HCG (obtained from the urine of pregnant women - gross) but what is its function?
I was told the Pregnyl (HCG) stimulates natural progesterone production.

In that case I suppose there is still a little bit of hope!
Our frostie looked so good at transfer. Was almost fully hatched.

Wow! That's great. Yep here is a time line... And sometimes they are late implanter so could even be a couple days later.

I really hope we are still in the running. IVF is so hard. I'm so tired of it. How are you coping? When did you first start treatment?

I'm tired of it too!! Been going about 18 months but I always have breaks between. The last 3 cycles I've been freezing all to stock pile embryos then I want to do some further investigations into why they are sticking before we put back in. It's also so much easier on the body to do a frozen cycle. I much prefer it. The only reason I put a fresh in this cycle was that the embryo wasn't good enough to biopsy (needs to be a well developed blast) and rather than just throw it away I put it in. I'm doing biopsy and PSG testing on all my embryos now so that I know for sure its a viable embryo I'm putting in. Also I started doing that just to check we were able to make genetically normal embryos (they get less and less as you're older). Ugh I know way too much about IVF and I'm tired of it being my life! If this one doesn't work it's a 3 month break and I'll be doing the Lipiodol flush before frozen transfer and also will do the NK cells protocol.

How about you? How long you been going?

My lining was up to 7.9!!! Highest ever! (Last time it was 6.4) Viagra is doing its thing. Can't remember if it was this page or the May June page the talk of viagra was on. So will post on both.

Did you POAS this morning? My second line has gone lighter again. Could still be the pregnyl coming out of my system, could be that the embryo implanted late and is just showing up or it could be that it did implant but didn't progress. I don't feel pregnant tho.
My embryo was a day behind in growth so though it was 5dt it was really only in for of 4dt compacting embryo. I'm not too hopeful but could be a late implanter but preparing myself for the worst. ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1464313551.842159.jpg

@mrsthomo when did you start to feel symptoms for OHSS?

I've got 18 follicles and am going in Monday. They want me to go under a general because of the amount and will put me on drugs to try prevent OHSS. Any tips to avoid over stimulation (if possible) would be greatly appreciated 😊

Oh @Apples1234 Hang in there hun! *hugs*
I have my fingers crossed for you. ♡
Oh my god I didn't know it came from pregnant woman urine!
@lotsathoughts I was extremely bloated a couple of days before pickup. My stomach felt like I had a full breath at all times, if that makes sense?
I was in pain when I woke up from my egg pickup. They gave me an endone which helped but when it wore off I was in pain again.
    Hope you stay OHSS free!
Woah! That's a lot of follies! Congratulations, lady! xo

May I ask what you're on to prevent OHSS? I am going to talk to my FS about that when I see her next week.
