    Hi @Sunnysummers
Sorry to hear all of this
I'm still holding onto hope for you! I suppose you will get some answers tomorrow. Sending you lots of hugs for while you wait.

I've been thinking about the NK cells & immunological stuff lots lately. I don't understand why they don't test for it right at the beginning? Is there a reason it isn't standard practice? It would save so much heartache if it could be diagnosed early!

@hulldweller oh your so lucky to be off the pessaries im on them until ten weeks! How are you u feeling? Is it sinking in yet that its finally worked?

I had second beta done this morning they are now having to take blood from my fingers as veins in hands no longer working lol

I'm feeling really good actually, just a bit tired. It hasn't really sunk in at all yet! Somewhere in my mind, I feel like it's all actually going to go well and be ok - which is not like me AT ALL haha, but I'm still freaking out. Just want to go to sleep and wake up when it's time for the first scan so I can feel like we've at least got that far!

I'm sighing a bit because we told both sets of parents yesterday that we'd had a positive test but it was very early days and anything could happen, we just wanted our immediate family to know where we were at. They (and my work) have known we're going through IVF and known what stage we were up to etc, so a couple of people at my work know now too. That's all fine except my mum (who I love dearly but arrgggg) got so over excited she can't seem to keep her mouth shut. She asked if she could tell her sister because she's her best friend and her daughter is my best friend (so she knows). I said yes, but only if she told her how early it was and not to tell anyone....and to just tell her next time she saw her so there was a chance we'd be a bit further along. I got a message from my aunty no more than half an hour later saying "Congratulations!!!!". So much for waiting until she saw her....she must have called her immediately after hanging up from me! I've also already had to have a go at her for saying to me, when I was trying a dress on today that I thought was a little big, "well, that will fit you later on as well...." right in front of the shop keeper. FFS. I basically snapped at her that we HOPE there will be a "later on" but we don't know that yet and I don't need her saying rubbish like that to me. DH's dad also said "Oh so was it natural or IVF?" DH said "Dad, I've already told you, we can't conceive without IVF..." and he said "Well we've certainly never had any trouble on OUR side of the family..." DH was so annoyed. He KNEW we were doing IVF and DH had already explained to him that we had issues on both sides!! Way to make me feel like it's all my fault FIL! Hope I'm not just getting hormonal and crabby already! Sorry for the whinge!!

Oh @Sunnysummers I'm so sorry. I can't believe your FS still didn't call you just because it was positive. That's ridiculous. We changed FS clinics last year because we felt like we were just a number and it was really clinical. Our new clinic is not like that at all - the nurses and specialists are all lovely and caring. Don't be afraid to change if you feel like you're not getting the service you want. You pay an awful lot of money for this stuff! A blood test for NK cells would be a good idea if they didn't already do one in your initial testing.

I'm freezing all this cycle due to high progesterone. We'd tossed up doing genetic testing as I've had three failed transfers so I've decided to do another stim and test them. I will only do single transfers as I had a complicated pregnancy with just one last time!

Hi. I did Accupuncture on the day of et. Two sessions, one right before and one right after. Very relaxing. Then did one a week later. Didn't work but that's cos I had other issues I didn't know about at the time.

Talking about acupuncture, I forgot to say, my acupuncture lady called me to ask how everything had gone last night. When I told her it had worked she screamed louder than my MIL, then she cried because she was so happy. LOL! It was so cute! I've been seeing her for 2.5 years for TTC, she kept saying "I'm just so happy, I'm sorry I'm crying, I just can't be happier!" So sweet!

Thanks everyone! I was highly emotional when I wrote my post this morning! They really haven't been that bad but I still feel like they should do what they say they are going to do. In the response to my email that I sent the nurse she didn't even acknowledge my concerns about the results. Just said she would book me in for tomorrow morning. I don't like that. How does it work swapping clinics with frozen embryos? Is it costly? My FS is meant to be one of the best and I do feel like he is knowledgeable but I think empathy goes a long way too.

I haven't had my NK cells tested as far as I am aware. I think the reason they didn't test me for the whole heap of immunological tests is because our infertility is due to male factor and FS didn't think it was likely I had issues too with the tests that he had done on me. I will be asking to get this NK blood test though ASAP!! I really feel like our embryos are perfect and try so hard each time to implant (have had a faint line at 5dpt FET 2 & 3 as well). If I didn't have the placenta tested after we had the termination (1st FET) I would think it was an embryo issue but the testing came back with no chromosomal abnormalities. Ahhhhh, if only the answers would be clear to us. It's all just a bit much sometimes.
