Good to hear your staying positive @ivf newbie

Anyone received their rebate yet? Can i please ask how long it took to get back and also roughly how much your cycle was and the OOP amount ended up being? You dont have to answer if its too personal. Just trying to gage the amount we will get back and how long it'll take to get the full $9k saved again.
It's heartbreaking, isn't it? Look after yourself, hon.

In terms of Medicare rebates, we usually get between 4K and 5K back, depending on whether it's ICSI or whatever. Hope that helps!

@rtkirk haha I just did the exact same thing! We're all POAS crazy! I'm on the Pregnyl this cycle so I'm not sure when I'll be able to crack the box & do my 1st test. Last booster Sunday so maybe Wednesday? By then I'll be 10dp5dt.

    Just stalking the thread ladies.

    Congrats @HillDweller & Kat.

Hugs to all those who've gotten BFNs & GL to those PUPO and about to undergo EP.

All going well here. 7w1d here and had our scan yesterday which bean was measuring spot on dates and had a HB of 153. So don't give up those still going. 3.5 years of TTC & I never thought I'd see the day we'd have a Bub. Easier said than done but this cycle was my most relaxed (until half way through 2ww) and I really wonder if that's what did it. Threw it out to the universe and said what will be will be. Keeping everything crossed for you all xo

    FET total $2618 + pharmacy

    IVF $7686 + embryo freezing ($398) + pharmacy +inpatient expenses (~2000)
    Medicare rebate
    $5067
    Private health rebate
    375 + all hospital inpatient ~$2000
    OOP ~$2600

Accounts are due to be paid in full Day 2 (after baseline bloods)
Medicare rebates processed day after ET & in our acc. the following day. I am currently 2dp5dt & we've already received our rebate.
