That's disappointing @Caesardust but don't count yourself out, you never know what can happen. I've had a similar thing happen out of 5 and they both ended up as good blasts on day 5, so keep your chin up. Xx
Caesardust So sorry the numbers are diminishing, its so frikin hard. Really hope those two or three stay in the race. I remember waiting for those calls and my heart dropping into my stomach when I got bad news.
@amie999 I always tried to find a really addictive page turner to take my mind off things in the quieter moments (Gone Girl or the Rosie Project etc). I also tried to take a day off around crunch time. For me that was DPO12/13 or BT day. I'd go and have a nice lunch with my partner and/or go to the cinema and watch something stupid. (I remember crying my way through 'Antman' once and 'Paul' (the one about the alien with Simon Pegg/Nick Frost) Seemed to help at the time
@infinity888 hang in there, definitely too early to call it yet
@Caesardust - you still have a chance with at least 2 maybe 3. Starting with a bigger number doesn't necessarily end up a better result. I reckon this part of the process is the most torturous - the fert report and then the day 5 report.
Had first bloods today and apparently I'm off to a slow start..wish she hadn't of said anything as now I feel stressed its going to be a dud cycle. Fruck!!
Agree with the other Girls that 2/3 out of 3 is still a good outcome when you only had 3 to begin with.
Even if the embies can't be PGD'd it doesn't mean they're duds & they'll hopefully be able to be frozen instead.
Fingers crossed/Babydust & Prayers being sent for them all!!!xo
@Caesardust Can you remind me, is this your first cycle with NL? If on day 3 you had say 2 good embryos, would you want to pop them back in or grow them out to day 5? Is it worth shelling out the money for PGD if this might be your final OE cycle? I can totally understand your disappointment, .
Pregnant for the first-time?
