Thanks @Bib and @Bongley im less stressed o was crying and called my dh saying i had wrecked it all. Calmer now. @Maxwellsmum I had a det 3dt on the 18th so maybe im 8dpo anyway 10 days since trigger on the 13th... thanks for checking yes did pregnyl correctly this time such an idiot i am. Feeling silly for not checking the box properly. I even checked expiry date of vial. Today when i did that i realised it said sodium chloride 0.9% for pregnyl. I then realised oh crap and checked the other end of the box and cried.
I wont know til bt for sure but my fx for an incoming bffp. Maybe more than one
@infinity888 I was just about to post to say I think you're 8dpo and 10 days since your last Pregynl shot. Are you going to test it out now? Bug hugs. Missing the first booster won't have made a difference hun. Please don't stress. So if you can switch your mind back into enjoying being PUPO that's the best thing you could do. And big deep happy breaths...
@Maxwellsmum I look forward to hearing all about Wazza's lining cocktail! xx
@Charlie74 Good luck with your neighbourly chat. I don't envy you.
@Blossom74 I hope you're surviving the inlaws!!
@BlondeinBrisvegas Good luck with Telstra. What a nightmare!!
I finally picked up the emotional energy to call Dr M's offices to tell him I had another early chem, and his immune protocol didn't make a difference (politely) but apparently he's away for abit so I was told to email him as he's picking up his emails. So I did. I got a response at 9pm lastnight from his nurse saying to book a phone consultation instead of emailing. Reading between the lines I'm guessing that means another $150 for a chat. Food for thought.
I started back on 500mg of Metformin today, a few days early as I'm not expecting AF until Monday, but if I'm going to have initial side-effects I want to get them on the w.end while I'm at home.
I was up at 5am researching the risks of transferring 3 embryos. Scary stuff. I can see why our Aussie FS's rarely do it but given my age, 4 failed donor embryo transfers & the grading of the embryos I'm ok with it. You did it didn't you @BlondeinBrisvegas?
Cycle 4 they were average & not even completely morula's by then if memory serves.
On Cycle 5 they were above average with less than 10% fragmentation, all the blastomeres were even but because they were only 5,6 & 7 cells they had to be graded as average.
Mind you, DD & the other 2 embies weren't a full 72 hrs old at the point they were graded/transferred as I knew what time my eggs were ICSI'd😊
Nope....don't know anyone else other than @ Vixjc that's done it but Vix might or one of the other Girls on the various donor threads maybe???
Thanks heaps Bib. Emotionally how did you feel transferring 3? Did you research the risks prior? I would like to post on the SA thread but I don't want to come under criticism for (possibly) transferring 3 or for it to stir up an ethical debate.
Yes...I researched the risks & discussed it all at length with Wazza as well before making the decision.
Emotionally I was fine as I knew the chances of triplets was almost 0 & twins wasn't all that much higher.
When I got my BFFP & learned that my HCG at 16dpo was 305 I started sh!tting bricks there could be 2...I was pretty anxious about that tbh as in all honesty I only transferred the 3 to get 1 but knew I'd have to deal with it if I got more than that.
Follow up levels over the weeks leading up to the viability scan eased my anxiety somewhat as they were indicative of a singleton.
Fair enough...I can understand why you want to avoid all of that on the donor threads Luv.
I actually never copped any backlash from anyone here on BH at the time not that I would've given a sh!t if I did!!! 😁
Thanks again for sharing BiB. I think the decision will be made for me really. It'll just depend on how many thaw well. If 3 thaw well, then 3 will go back in. I've also thought the same thing, the chances of 3 sticking would be absolutely minuscule. I needed to research TETs so I can now let it go, put it out to the Universe and what will be will be. My Zen approach.
(There's one woman on the SA thread who would be guaranteed to jump in & be all judgmental without knowing my full story. @emski72 usually puts her in her place though, Judgmental Woman even criticized women who transfer 2 embryos!)
