@Caesardust have you had any scans yet?

Sooooooo hoping there's some BFPs around here soon, with all the people cycling surely there has to be a couple!

Semding you you lots of luck too @Precious40

i think the estrogen tabs have been making me crabby so I'm now finished them thankfully and can start on the stims on Friday. Woohoo, cmon lots of follies
@tuxcat I have my first scan on Friday which will be day 9 of stims. I'm assuming I can't go to Epu on the weekend or a ph with monash so I won't be going in until at least Tuesday which will be day 13 of stims. Last time day 11 and I think around day 12 the time before.

Sorry to hear about the lack of support out there. Families are tricky. My mum would have been a great support but sadly she passed away along while back. Dad would be disinterested so I don't bother telling him anything.
DH's parents are generally good but they don't agree with IVF. I would've loved to have joined a Facebook support group but feel like I can't in case they somehow found out. Actually DH is more worried than me but they are his parents and I have to respect that relationship. His Dad freely admits to stalking his kids partners to see what they are up to. Trust me to have the only father in law who is a computer geek.

@amie999 ditto to what the others have said about some mothers. My mother and my relationship is hanging by a thread at this point due to her insensitivity about IVF and our fears about remaining childless. We care and you and your embie are in all our thoughts. My MIL was funny - we thought it would be too much for her, but DH couldn't resist telling her and she has now become really facinated by IVF and is being really supportive. DH told her that some of his sperm attack his other sperm (not sure of the scientific wording) and her reply was "Oh no, does that mean your children will be aggressive?".

We were quite secret about ivf mum guessed when we got pregnant and has been supportive. She asks how things are going but is not insensitive. She knows we are planning in de in south africa. I havent told my dad too much. Weve told a few close friends but not too many.

Hon, how the other two performed is no reflection on the emby you have on board! He/She might be the Golden Egg of the bunch! Stay positive and be kind to yourself - good food, water, lots of sleep. Do everything you can to nurture this little bub into the world

It could hon, or it may not. We all react differently to the meds so it's hard to tell.

In the plus side - I love pizza! Bloat or no bloat, it's always good

    Hugs for you hon.

Sometimes they just don't get it. All this IVF stuff can be above and beyond them, especially of they are getting on in years. Mine told me a DE baby wouldn't really be mine! I explained but it's still a huge concept for them to wrap their heads around.
