These eggs would have never had a chance of developing into a life at all unless a beautiful soul had a longing to be a mumma. The DE Bubba's, so deliberately planned and fought for, have to belong to the one who longed for them. Genetics has nothing to do with it.
so true, Faith. thanks for putting this into words

When I was younger AF used to be over about 6 days. It would start, be pretty heavy, then disappear around day 3-4, then come back for 2 days.

Does anyone mind sharing what their AF is like duration & quantity wise??? I'm just trying to figure out what is normal (ie for a good lining).
when I was young I'd get light day1 (full bleed), heavy day2-3, then mid-tapering off to spotting day 4-7 (sometimes it'd be this over 5-6days but usually spread out over 7 with day7 being spotting/very light to finish up)

these days I get spotting 1-2days prior, then light-mid day1 (full bleed), heavy day2-3, mid day 4, then it's doing like yours - either spotting for day5 and coming back mid-light days 6-7 (where 7 is spotting/very light as it finishes)

so it's changed since I was younger but still consistent in the new-mode now if that makes sense

Thanks @infinity888 for explaining. How long are you meant to wait after pregnyl shot to do a frer hpt? These public holidays are great but totally painful when your bloods fall on them! The pred is cheaper than the clexane and prog so at least that won't cost as much to fill a script.are u going crazy yet, omg I'm over waiting, why can't the embryologist just grow it for me till 9months? I'd pay the money 😁

thanks for all the total positivity around the donor egg thing ladies. Im already a convert as you know but its really nice to hear everyone talking about it so positively. I just had lunch with a friend and her 6year old and was telling her about it all, including about our PD and her reaction was just so lovely too. She's just so eager for us to have kids and is truly excited about this next option, should we need it.
    Go girlfriendz

@Charlie74 my AF has changed a bit over the years and the past couple of months its been heavy spotting for 2 days then a day of a proper bleed and then back to heavy spotting. Ive wondered whether all my sitting down (I work at a desk and work a lot of hours) is the cause of why its not a very good flow. But Ive also noticed that some months (like this one) I seem to be getting more cm along with the bleed which is why its not flowing as well either. I got mine at aged 13 and it used to be 3 days of full flow and then 2 light to spotting. Poor @infinity888 getting them at 9!! thats just bloody cruel!

And yay for the fact that my luteal phase seems to have gotten a bit longer this past couple of months too by a day or 2. Healthy living bonus maybe?

Wazza swears sex is great for lining and DH researched this and studies have shown that the more regularly you have sex even during non-fertile times there are significantly higher pregnancy rates. If I'm too uncomfortable with bloating, bruising, or after EPU we syringe it in. So romantic. Even if DP has had a vasectomy apparently the semen still carries helpful proteins.

Yeah they were his exact words actually. I don't know how much truth there is to it but it kind of makes sense.

I've always wondered why they take so much notice of whether somebody has had a child if they've been on the pill and wondered if it was the body adapting to current lifestyles. That said evolutionary changes take so long, I wouldn't have thought the pill has been around long enough to have an impact... However maybe old maiden aunts would have struggled at 40 back before the pill.
