@amie999 Do you mind me asking how much the US SDs are and how many you get to choose from and are they anonymous?

I ended up changing soap to my medicated one and it cleared up so maybe was bacterial. dr google had me worried
@winsor - I have this at the moment and i thought its like hair follicle infection or something but have been wondering if i should get it checked out. Thats so weird you have had it too. What soap do you use? I thought it might have been my deodorant and have been using talc to keep it dry.

@Blossom74 I am glad to hear that it is probably nothing but that you are still going to get it fully checked out.

Thank you for all your kind thoughts ladies. I am home from egg collection where they managed to coax 5 eggs out. I don't know where the other 2 came from. Whilst I would love it if all 5 fertilised, I need to be realistic and aim for 2 or 3 (whilst secretly hoping for 5). I find out how many fertilised tomorrow.

I am not in pain which I thought I would be and came out of the anaesthetic feeling well. The anaesthetist said he would put something in to help me. I felt so old when I saw him and felt like asking if he was on year 10 work experience. He looked so young.

I was crying in recovery and when my poor husband walked in he thought they collected 0. I was emotional as we last conceived in July and were due this week. I can't keep looking back though. Now to have a sleep.

@Maxwellsmum sorry you can't go ahead with this cycle. Hopefully your lining co-operates next month. Looking forward to hearing about all your amazing embryos when you receive your report.

I use Gammophen medicated soap. it's in most of the larger stores, not in local 7/11 type stores though. that's right - it could have been related to my previous deoderant - I'd been trying one of those aluminium-free liquid spray ones from the chemist - I forget the brand but it smelt like citrus. once I stopped that and used the medicated soap it cleared up within a couple of days. (so not sure if it was the deoderant or soap or a bit of both)

@Tahli no not at all - I'm happy to talk about any of it which anyone who is interested
I'm not following the costs that and haven't been sent any info yet but I think from memory it's about $1100.
The system changes depending of who you're with - if I change to Wazza I have to choose a new donor - which is why I didn't back away from Monash this time at the start.
I got 3 choices and then if your still not happy ask for more.
They only give 3 at a time I think.
If your going through Monash - Lyndsey I think that's her name is really helpful and accommodating.
I think there was about 8or 10 all up to choose from.
I think QFG uses Zytec so they might have more choices.
