    @Blossom74 Thank you !.
They don't give me proper answers just - they were ok or good. No rating. But i am going to really get into it all when i'm up there this time.
Its far too hard to get any information in depth.
@faithlovehope Thats giving me a bit of hope ! Was that what ended up being the BFP ?
Was it a donor cycle or your eggs ?

I'm feeling a bit defeated at the moment - sure its just a stage.
I only know that the blood were on track but will ask for actual numbers Monday.

    Ive never had that information.

Booked for Wed egg pick up now and a little bit anxious at the uneven sizes.
What the ideal folly size ? 18-22 ? Does anyone know what happens if they leave a leading big one ? My Friday scan had one at 27.
I think that ones supposed to be over mature although im not too sure what that means.
Hey @amie999, we never get told either, we just get the early/fully expanded etc no actual grades with Im thankful for. I usually find something to stress about anyway so having more information than that would just mean I'd be nervously looking through google trying to find success stories. I guess there are always stories where people have less than ideal embies become babies so its never a guarantee. Just ask though if you want to know.

I think 18-22 is probably ideal but maybe over 22 is ok too, but maybe 27 is too big. don't know

Has anyone taken Progynova just before they get AF before? I was just wondering whether it delays AF? I started taking it on tuesday night, twice a day (about 5 days before AF is due) and have definitely been feeling the effects from it and don't feel so much like AF is coming so wondered if that will hold it off at all? Its basically estrogen..

We got a chemical pregnancy on that cycle. I think it would have worked except that I had a bulky uterus from adenomyosis that needed treatment. Our cycles have all been OE.

My clinic never gave me specifics on quality either. Are you guys with Genea?

On cycle 4 and 6 I had good implantation. The best was cycle 4 with a hatching blast & B5AB and a fairly simple protocol compared to cycle 6 with 2 x B5AAs and a full immune protocol.
I feel psychologically ready for a chilled out Zen cycle!!
@Bongley If you have a moment, would you mind posting the details of your successful natural FET. I'm wondering how much of it I could follow.
@Tahli Halloo! My first BFP in 2012 was a fresh transfer on day 5. He was a grade 2 early blastocyst, nothing special my FS described it after the fact. (so I guess from faiths post he would have been a B2 or something like that)

For my DE FET in Nov my FS wanted me to do a natural cycle but my cycles are too irregular. So I did two 'programmed' FETs (BFNs) and my BFP was a stimulated cycle (with immune meds). So I stimmed with gonal F and triggered with Ovidrel and put back the DE embryo on day 5.

    Hope that helps!

@Tahli, I'd do the natural / zen cycle, but I'm a chicken and would only transfer 1. 2 at the most. I think all blasts are good blasts and my FS said they can all make good babies so I think they're all in with a chance. I've never known my gradings. they've said textbook, or looking just as they're expected to look at this stage, things like that. personally I still favour the slightly slower ones who don't burn out too early

I think the consensus is a Zen cycle, transferring all three embryos if they survive the thaw and expand appropriately. Thanks so much for putting forward your opinions girls. Food for thought.
@tuxcat I can't really take my son out of the country until my ex and I have a Parenting Order. I always try to ensure they see each other 5 times a week, so DS would really feels his absence if I were to take him away for longer than a week. Thanks for the idea though!
Progy has never delayed AF for me, although I've always been on 6 p/d from day 1. Any chance of a natural pregnancy?!
@faithandhopellove For adeno were you on Zoladex?
@Maxwellsmum Yeah, I asked the same question. They were B4AA's. So a lovely grading.
@Bongley So your DS was a B2?? Wow, it really can happen??? So you did the full immune meds for your second BFP, plus had a fully hatched blast. Your experience fully sums up my dilemma. If I was to do a fresh cycle I'd ask for the blasts to be grown out as much as possible, hoping for a hatching blast b/c that's how I got a good BFP previously.
@BlondeinBrisvegas I can't actually put my B5AA from my first cycle in with any other embryo. Legally you can't mix donor embryos in one transfer. It's nice to know it's there should the 3 embryos fail to thaw though.
Must shower. I've just got home from a sweaty dirty working bee. I'll respond to more personals soon!

yes. but given the 6 year quest I'd say Buckley's chance!!!

thanks for that, Ive got spotting so it may be on time, its not late yet. should be here tomorrow.

I would be scared to transfer all 3 too, I really have no idea whether those two "iffy" ones would have any chance in working ?? I kind of assumed not but theres probably a story out there!! How old is the donor?

do you think it's weird that I'd like my Donor to be same blood type as me, so my body already knows that blood type and it should be compatible. I used to faint with blood tests and once when doing a plasma donation where it was about to come back into me after being split or something (they took my blood donation card off me after that and said donating blood wasn't for me) (have been ok in BTs for IVF but they're smaller amounts, or I've finally got used to it). I did some reading and I don't think the donor having different blood type affects the baby unless there's opposite rhesus value & they can give you meds for that now. it's just an old fear of other blood in me that's not mine. would it be strange to ask/mention blood type in my ad once I write it

@Tahli I had Zolodex when i was first diagnosed with adeno (2014) but the FS wouldn't give it to me a second time when my uterus got bulky again (2015). He said it reduced egg numbers and wouldn't risk it while we were doing OE. If you are considering doing another OE cycle in the future that might be something to think about.
