    @Gen72
    Thanks for sharing your story - its taken me 2 yrs to get my head around the DE option but now i'm totally on board if this one isn't a BFP.
    I'm an only child and my whole family is over 70 so i'm feeling some pressure to produce a baby before my parents or uncle leave us. We are a very small family as it is now.

    I haven't looked into the donor acceptance of single parents but i'm hoping thats not too restrictive !

I have to eat all my naughty foods while DP is away working so I don't have to listen to him growling at me when he's home...I eat nice and healthy...we he doesn't know won't hurt me

    One more sleep for me to decide our fate I'm feeling pretty good to be honest, usually by now I'd 'have that feeling' and usually be right. This time I'm still feeling good, I think just knowing that our embryo's aren't made from my crappy eggs has made a difference to how I'm feeling about this cycle.

    It's gorgeous weather for 'doing nothing' which is what I'm doing...catching up on some TV and procrastinating about doing some housework (I'm terrible at domestic duties). I keep thinking that I'll get some mop body suits made up for any little babies we have, so they can clean the floors while they crawl around...hehe is that terrible. I so which I'd thought of that 20 odd years ago when I had my son...I was OCD about cleaning and housework back then...oh how I've changed.

    Enjoy what's left of your weekend ladies!
    G

    @amie999 do you mean Australian DE or O/S DE?
    I'm from a tiny family too and the pressure is really there (from myself) to make a bigger one this year or it will never happen!

    Thanks everyone for your messages. I guess I always knew it would never happen for me so I'm irritated with myself for the hope I allowed myself to have and the time, money, health and emotion that this journey has ripped from me. I don't know what life has in store for me next but this thread has been such a support for me in this period of it. I guess it's time to move on and get on with living the rest of it now and finding a new purpose. I will be thinking of you all and wishing you babies, health and happiness xo

    So well said Charlie74 I am feeling so sad for @infinity888 and @Caesardust and @Summer. It is just so unfair. My husband always says preserve and we will get there but the ugly truth is some of us will never get there. So I want to send huge hugs to everyone who needs them. It's not much but just so you all know there are people who really do care and do know how you feel and if anyone wants to talk IRL to someone I am always here just throw me a PM. xo

    I'm so sorry honey. Oh I could cry for you. This sh!t is just so completely and utterly unfair. It's like a knife in the stomach every time one of us girls in here gets bad news.

    Everyone is different, you might be ready to jump straight into DE, or u might need some time to process your feelings & move slowly towards DE. But try and stay in touch with all of us.. Remember this thread is for IVF regardless of OE or DE. We all need each other at some point or another to keep moving forward.

    I hope the next part of your journey is easier than what it's been so far. Hugs to you XXX

    @Caesardust - sorry to hear this. It's gut wrenching for you. I never realised how awful IVF would be until I did it - but as Maxwellsmums says you can throw everything at this process mentally physically and monetarily and still not get there. I know I find that hard to process and I'm sure others do too. I hope you find another path to motherhood.

    @Caesardust, I'm so very sorry. This is such a difficult process. I hope there's something else out there for you that fulfills your heart. Xxx
