No breakfast plans for DD or I today (she's already had hers at 7 am....some lovely champagne watermelon and toast with cheese spread). I've got some avocado and eggs in the fridge myself, so will knock up some avocado on toast with a poached egg later on for myself

AF arrived at 5 pm on the dot yesterday (a day or so early) thereby ending this months sugar bingeing. Am trying to clean up my act diet-wise as I know I've been letting myself go to town a little bit too much lately and it's showing on the scales...a 2 kg increase which doesn't seem like much, but for someone like me who has been saddled with the obesity gene as well as having been morbidly obese in the past, it's a wake up call as it's all too easy for me to put on weight so I need to nip it in the bud asap.

Will head down to one of my local shopping centres soon-ish to buy the paper and let DD have a good walk around while we do a bit of window shopping as it's showery/drizzly up here this morning. If it clears up enough by later on this arvo, I'll take her down to the park for our usual play/walk and afternoon tea outing

Being the "Pill W h o r e" that I am, it's time for me to skedaddle so I can take some "pharmacuticals" for my aching gut!!!

    Have a beautiful Sunday Lovelies!!!!!xoxoxo

@amie999 POAS hun. If it's negative delay the beta hcg blood test by a few days. If it's positive go for the blood test on Tuesday. Are you 11dpo today?

I'm in the same boat as you. No matter the news I get today this will be my last oe cycle. No point beating a dead horse as they say. It makes me really sad to give up on my oe baby but I keep remembering my FS saying focus on what you want the end result to be 'a family' and not on the how you get there bit so much. Thoughts of fostering have been running through my head, how to get the money for sa and de's and just not having children at all. I kind of want to hide away forever aswell on some deserted island with my fur baby but I can't afford that either unfortunately
    tomorrow

Thats a really great way of looking at it from your FS. Ive had those times where I just want to run away and start again where no-one knows me and knows about any of this.

My mum is feeling pretty sad about it all for me at the moment too, she wants to be able to help me, but unfortunately as we all know, its not something anyone can! So she doesnt know much about the donor pathway but knows we are going to do it if we need to, I think she just really thought that we would get there eventually and doesnt understand the cr@ppy odds when you only get 1 or 2 eggs. I guess I feel like Ive moved on to DE (this cycle is just throwing a spanner in the works for the moment) but she hasnt had much time to think about that option and be ready for it for us. She doesnt say anything but I can feel her sadness. It doesnt make me angry or anything it just makes me sad for her too. She used to mind kids when we were growing up from home and so has always had an amazing way with kids and also being her only daughter I guess she's feeling a sense of loss too. Anyway, we are going out to my SIL's 50th lunch so will be nice to tune out for the day.

Thanks for that post Caesardust, I will keep it in my mind and I hope you get some great news on your embies today

Morning Ladies, my breakfast is a bit of a confession. I made a lemon crumble yesterday and I might have had a piece with my tea for breakfast! We've gone for a drive up north and we're currently sitting at a pub right on the beach waiting for our lunch. It's lovely. Wishing you all a great day.

Hmm it was pancakes for me this morning, with Lemon & Sugar...I'm with you on the sugar confessions @BlondeinBrisvegas...I've tried to curb it myself with the weight slowly creeping on over the last year and a half with the IVF. I have to eat all my naughty foods while DP is away working so I don't have to listen to him growling at me when he's home...I eat nice and healthy...we he doesn't know won't hurt me

One more sleep for me to decide our fate I'm feeling pretty good to be honest, usually by now I'd 'have that feeling' and usually be right. This time I'm still feeling good, I think just knowing that our embryo's aren't made from my crappy eggs has made a difference to how I'm feeling about this cycle.

It's gorgeous weather for 'doing nothing' which is what I'm doing...catching up on some TV and procrastinating about doing some housework (I'm terrible at domestic duties). I keep thinking that I'll get some mop body suits made up for any little babies we have, so they can clean the floors while they crawl around...hehe is that terrible. I so which I'd thought of that 20 odd years ago when I had my son...I was OCD about cleaning and housework back then...oh how I've changed.

Enjoy what's left of your weekend ladies!
    G
