@CAEserdust hope your ok. It's so hard to make a decision when the whole process isn't purely down to science.
Go with your gut feeling I think.
Wishing to all the gods for you🙏🙏🙏

@infinity888 I am so sorry it hasn't worked. It's just so damn unfair. Take care and come back if you do change your mind. I'll miss your posts and support. Xx
@Caesardust even with my super dooper 25yr old donor eggs only 2 were biopsied on day 5. The other 2 were on day 6 and all were normal. Best of luck for tomorrow. Damn it's torturous.

Thought this was a lovely article.. ..

Thanks Bongley, that is a really great article and from the perspective of someone who has both OE and DE kids. I have to admit that going through this last IVF cycle of OE Im feeling more nervous about the DE thing, maybe not nervous but just sad I guess that I won't get there with my eggs. I know I haven't got to epu yet but it just feels like its gonna go down hill from here. Anyway, its a nice article and once Im through this cycle i will be excited again, I know it.

    thanks for posting.

How are you going with the pregnancy?

@skye76 I heard it was all maternal until day 3 then a combination of both from there.
On my last cycle it was one of the things we changed. DH had frozen sperm (pre chemo) that we used on previous cycles but he was fairly unwell when it was collected. Last cycle we tried fresh as DH had finished chemo 18 months before and was fully recovered. We went from 0 to 1 on average making it to blast in 5 cycles to 2 plus an advanced Morula on the last cycle. Could be coincidence but then again maybe not.

I've never been that good at small talk. and for some reason my threads don't appear in 'recent activity' link even when they've had posts. so probably flying under the radar if anyone is watching anyway. I just want to be pg again & have the healthy bub. all the waiting & out of my hands parts is hard to manage. at least when it's OE you can set the timeframe so that's one part you can control even if the result is out of your hands

Hang in there hon. It doesn't happen overnight unfortunately but the more involved you can be the better. I have chatted to both donors and recips both on the forum and FB. Trust me on this, even a recip could be your link to a potential donor. Be as involved as you can, even if it's just on FB encouraging people along. You never know who's watching

Oh hon, I'm so very sorry. I will miss you so much - we all will - but I completely understand the need to take a step back and grieve your loss.

Massive hugs to you as always
