Thanks for asking BIB, I had to take some time out as IVF had taken a toll on my health. I was living & breathing IVF and didn't realise the impact it was having on my relationships with dh, Friends & Family, but I'm in a much better place now then I was a year ago. Hope all is well with you & the lo soz to hear you're no longer with your ex dh you're such a kind hearted person you deserve better I'm slowly catching up on reading the posts I've missed, it was so nice to read that Chiefsgirl had a beautiful little girl & now Petal40 has an adorable little boy. Hello to all the other lovely ladies

    Good morning lovely ladies!

A glorious morning here with the rain already falling as I opened the curtains. The farmers around here will be grateful for it (not that they have a lot to be grateful for ATM with MG dropping their milk prices without notice.) Anyway, the rain will be good for my vegie patch, which I'm happy about.

I am at home today, doing paperwork. Well, actually, right now I'm having my breakfast (grilled tomatoes on toast) but I'll be starting work in an hour or so

Hope you all have a great day!

    Blossom

Beautiful sunshine and warm here today, working from home and I have a driving lesson this arvo. Yep, 43 and I need lessons thanks to living in London for many years and being a total lazy ****.
@Blossom74 really glad to hear your results showed nothing serious but sorry that it resurfaced some grief for you

Steel cut oats, berries and stevia for brekkie here. Yum.

    Welcome back @skye76

good luck today with your scans @Maxwellsmum @tuxcat, let us know how you go

Good luck with your scans today @Maxwellsmum and @tuxcat

How are you going @greenlady? I think you were due for epu soon?

I have just gone and had my hcg blood test. AF started last night so it felt like the worlds most pointless test. Anyway I guess it had to be done. We now have to decide if we stim again or move on.
@Tinachris and @infinity888 I hope you have better luck than me on Monday.

@calypso75 Im sorry to hear that, this sh!t sucks a.r.se. I hope you can treat yourself to something naughty and/or knock yourself out with plenty of alcohol to ease the pain. xx

are you ready for my news........ 2 follicles on the left and after trying hard to find the right there was only a tiny one. 12 & 14 so my body's sheer brilliance has done it again!! I was waiting for my scan getting nervous and then I just thought, stop. enough. you cant do anything more. I was prepared for a cr@p scan so there it was. My only positive thought was that they were close together so hoping that means 2. Its funny how ready you are for donor eggs and then you start doing one more OE cycle and you kind of forget that the DE thing is there. So I will wait for the results phone call and see what they have to say. Ive been to epu with 1 egg before so Im guessing it will just continue as business as usual. Just get it over with really. uurggh.

on the upside I have a sicilian blood orange and chocolate ice cream in the freezer

and my new work arrangement with the US studio is going really well !!!

    Fruck U IVF

@tuxcat oh no, so sorry the disappointment has started early. Sounds like the 12 and 14 are going well though and I hope they've both got some good eggs for you. It's still horrendous to go through even though there is a plan B in place

@Blossom74 @Petal40 massive congrats on the birth of your son, what a sweetheart

I haven't been through anything close to what most of you girls have been through in your IVF journeys and am in awe of you all. I am a bit of a control freak by nature and didn't really cope that well with the not knowing and also knowing that I couldn't influence the outcome. My sisters seem to just fall pregnant just being in the same room as their partners and one fell pregnant ' by accident' when I was going my stim cycle, the other fell pregnant 'by accident' when I had my failed FET (which I only found out about after the abortion) and then AGAIN when I was pregnant with my DD. So my first pregnancy I had to share with my sister who was having her fourth 'unplanned' which I know may sound selfish, but I didn't want to share.

I also feel like a fraud to you all as I have just had another FET and found out last week it was successful. Although to be honest I am quietly freaking out as the hcg was 772 11dp5dt so I am terrified it's going to be a molar pregnancy. I had another BT this am and should know in a few hours but that's all my heads been occupied with the last week. FIL is in hospital with what is more than likely cancer and my dad in the UK has just had massive spinal surgery which we are not sure if he has permanent damage from.

Thanks for listening and I would like to stay and cheer you all on if you don't mind xx
