If it was cellulitis you would feel very unwell and it spreads like wildfire. I had cellulitis and it started off as a red bump by day 3 I had red skin all the way up past my belly button and it was hot to touch like I'd be burnt by hot water. In hospital for four days!

I'd say at a guess it wouldn't be something to worry abut of it hasn't changed and you haven't had any fever x

thanks ladies. I'll keep an eye on it and see the gp if it gets worse or I start to feel off.

i was mainly worried as its so close to the cs cut and I'm very squeamish with all that kind of stuff, I keep thinking what if the cut busts open and my guts spill out lol

Lol! If the area gets any bigger or you feel slightly unwell go and get it checked ASAP. Cellulitis is a b!tch!

I had something similar by the sounds of it. Small red bump came up about 12pp but then went away on its own. It was a little irritated, there was a slight itchiness to it. In hindsight, it could have been hair follicle

When I got the infected follicle from an ingrown hair it was just as you described. It was a red lump under the scar itself and din't look like a pimple. It was sore though.

When you say steri strips, you had internal stitches on the outer incision too? I had a dressing for a few days but no steri's.
