Default 2 year old early intervention

Have mummies here been referred to early intervention via their MCHN? We just had a really disappointing brigance test and I'm looking for more information on what it means and how i can help his development at home...

We had early (very early, from 1 month corrected) intervention with my daughter, I highly recommend it! Depending on the developmental issue a pediatric physio or OT may be a good starting point - they give you tips on monitoring at home, simple exercises to help development. They are a wealth of knowledge and even if you just have a couple of appointments they can be beneficial.

I should also add that standard testing is not always the most accurate guide, some kids don't test well... we have annual formal developmental tests and we are usually told that she'll test a little under where she's at.

What kind of early intervention did they want to address?
I'm sorry you have received a disappointing result. As @GM01 says some kids don't test well... so try not to be hard on yourself and him.
As for early intervention - it's the best kind! The earlier you seek support and help the better. .. my daughter has also been receiving all the therapies since she was pretty much born. ..and I firmly believe she would not be doing as well as she is without them.
There's tons of things you can do at home - what specific areas are they targeting?
