I am wondering how on earth I make a Stormtrooper birthday cake (like 3D, fondant type). Making a simple cake isn't an option as I set the bar too high in earlier years. Now DS1 wants a Stormtrooper cake (well he wanted Darth Vadar but I managed to talk him around as the black food colouring scares me!).

waiting for my new boss to send through my new offer of employment and new salary. I'm really hoping it's a step up from the current one. just realised I've been working for 10 years now and am CA. surely I should be on triple figures by now

thankful - I was originally really upset at being given a different recovery clinician to who I had last time & adored but after today's appointment have decided that my new one is really switched on with how to treat BPD and I think has good ideas for a focus towards recovery as well as really getting me - something not many do.

Buy a stormtrooper cake tin from ebay. You can always sell it again.

And, if that fails get an edible photo/pic of one and put that one a square/round cake.

Eta - there are places that do custom edible icing.

well it's arrived and it's not as much as I'd hoped but the firm pays for CA membership and $1k of training & development per year, something my old boss didn't do, so I guess you could add an extra $1600 to the package offered.

I knew there was a reason DS only ever got packet cakes (apart from I can't cook to save myself)

Thanks I really wish I stuck to easier cakes though, as fun as they are to make it all seems like too much hard work right now! The Stormtrooper will be a challenge 😫
