Totally. If I wasn't bf I'd have started (been clean a year). One day a few weeks ago ds was being a nightmare and I turned the house upside down searching for one of dh's cigarettes. Luckily, didn't find one. It's a slippery slope back down.

Yeah I was so desperate I googled it. After 90 mins only half the nicotine is gone and the rest is present in breast milk. Plus, I'd have to shower before feeding. Not worth it (most of the time)

I haven't smoked regularly in over 15 years, but I still crave them now and then. On the rare occasions I have cracked and smoked one, I couldn't get past the first drag, lol. Unless I'd been drinking and then sometimes I could manage two.

I find it such a gross habit, but get a few drinks in me and I totally romanticise it.

I am going to hell. I introduced my 7 year old to Far Out Brussell Sproat and Unreal Banana Peel.

yes!! it's the idea of it more than the actual act of it. I hate the smell!! I've had the odd drag here and there and it's like sandpaper on the throat. yet I still romanticize it!

I always feel a bit 90s supermodel (Kate moss) doing it. I'm sure the reality was completely different

I get what you mean. In my head I think I still look young, rebellious and cool but in reality the older I get the worse I look, looking like an old hag who has smoked for far longer than I wanted.
