I'm always off and on them. I started again when dd2 wasn't sleeping. Dh doesn't know I've hidden it from him for years. The hardest part is work where 3/4 staff smoke, it's a big social thing.
But desperate to be free of the damn things again, sick of lying and sneaking from dh.

didn't your dh pick up on the smell?

yeah it's hard to stay focused on quitting when there's outside stressors, it always feels like the perfect escape. actually I'd be lying if I said ds' lack of sleep and associated antics didn't have me considering taking it back up

oh gosh, why is it always such a double edged sword!?

I'm currently sitting here drinking cold coffee listening to ds grizzle and carry on. I don't know what else to do, nothing is working and quite frankly, I'm a bit over him today!

I had a few cardigans/jackets around- in the car, near the back door etc that I smoked in then took them off. I had hand sanitiser, mints, fragranced baby wipes and mini perfumes in every bag.
I did get caught out a few times but more from cigarette butts being left and lighters falling out of my pockets which resulted in epic fights about me smoking and lying which only resulted in me continuing to lie.

They seem to pick up when we are vulnerable and stressed. And then they attack!

Congrats on being smoke free! Ine day/hour/minute/second at a time.
