have you taken her to see GP yet? sorry if you have, I have probably missed the post where you said you did.

can you give the children's hospital a buzz and just talk it through with someone? they may be able to tell you whether you should go in or give you other things to try?

We went yesterday. Nothing in chest/ears. Just lots of mucus. She still does nor have much of a 'voice' when she cries.

She sounded like she haf pain when swallowing/coughing so she had some paracetemol during the day.

She is still feeding which is good. Have had the vaporiser on all day. Just put it on now - had a thought that it being off and the cold air probably isn't helping. So we are now sitting near it and she has drifted off.

Vaporiser helped me today too which is good.

I think if she is either unable to feed or struggling to breathe. Gagging can just be clearing mucous (or regurgitated milk) that inevitably drips down her throat. But it's awful to watch.

If she is having trouble breathing I would take her to hospital. If she isn't feeding well - not getting wet nappies or showing any other signs of dehydration then that is a concern.

You could call a helpline (I think you're in qld? There is a pregnancy & baby health line and also a general health line?), see what they say.

Hugs. I would be worried too x

I thought she was having breathing trouble earlier today. Really fast breathing and her chest was going in a lot. But once her nose was cleared she was a lot better.

She is feeding regularly in small feeds and nappies are fine. Its day 3. Surely its over soon isn't it?

I am frustrated with Centrelink. I have uploaded my claim 3 times now. They don"t even get back to me if they need anything else. I have uploaded docs. I need DD's Medicare.

I am also still worried about DD and will probably get no more sleep. Se was so so wheezy. No home dr available. Called 13health. They said see a dr - hospital if it gets worse. DH does not think hospital is needed now though. I am so tired and stressed I just don't know.

We have cleared out her nose as much as we could. Sitting in the rocking chair and she is breathing a bit better so will try and nap here. Going back to the dr tomorrow (my preferred GP hopefully). She is just so little!

Like, are you me? Lol. Bub is two months now and still no Medicare. 😡 I've called and f*ing called. = nothing... She's also sick. Snotted up. Good thing boogies are sticky, when in deep I can roll a tissue and put it in there. They stick to it and most of the time pull out. Poor darling, I can hear that they are the horrible ones that linger at the back of her little throat.. 😕
I hope yours gets better soon. *hugs*

I check the claim progress every day. It went from 100% to 75%. So I uploaded docs.... again.

We made it through the night. I got sleep as did DD. Off to the dr this morning.

    Eta. Still not sounding good.

I am a bundle of nerves. Today is DS's first day of child care. I take him in an hour. He's never been looked after by anyone other than myself and DH.

    Hugs - it is hard.

Prepare for thr first week or two to be great but then it may go downhill. If that happens it is normal. If it does not happen it is normal. Does not make it any easier for us.

What are you doing today? Home or work?
