Yes I did! I haven't had much of an opportunity to come back and say so but yes, we move next week!

I so wish he could but it's almost impossible at the moment. Just when they thought their load would lighten a bit, the new guy that was almost completely trained up, decided to walk out one day without a word and isn't coming back. So now it's 12-13 hour days. The joys of being the manager I guess. We'll be lucky if he gets a couple of days off for the actual move. Ugh. So exhausted.

I am combatting loneliness and lack of sleep by doing lots of retail therapy. In 2 days I have bought 2 pairs of jeans, a very expensive pair of boots, a gym top and some nice underwear. And somehow spent $120 at the chemist warehouse on I don't know what?!

Loneliness is so real in maternity leave. And much harder to deal with when you don't have money.

    Hugs.

Hugs. I am a hermit so would happily hide away but it is not good for my mental health.

I am starting to go back to taking DS and now DD to the local library. It takes about 20 mins to walk and is free so I get the exercise and people interaction I need.

I know its harder for you with noone to help and the cold weather means no park trips etc. Hugs.

Yep. Even simple walks the shops isn't possible on someways. I'm not worried for me but dd3 is so little.

I still remember walking DD1 to kindy when DD2 was a newborn and DD2 cried the whole way there as it was so cold. Her face was freezing. It felt awful. I miss really cold weather now we live in Perth but not for the kids. They struggled when they were tiny.

It was 3 degrees today at 8am. I had to shelve walking.
