    yes!!!

just a break you know you could rely on and look forward to. it's this getting bitty pieces of sleep and the constant interruptions that make it hard to feel like you're on top of it all.

my head hurts today, I just want to stay in bed in the dark and silence really.

dh is home tomo, going to get some alone time resting I think.

I want this on Sat/Sun but DH keeps saying that he will invite his mum and dad over. DS has a temp. I have been getting barely any sleep between looking after the 2 kids. Saturday (if DS feels better) is a local 'carnivale' with fireworks. It is Eurovision weekend. I do not want to also then entertain his parents. They are not helpful - especially with a sick kid.

I want my Saturday morning sleep in and a nap on Sunday.

honestly just say to him dude seriously, wtaf.

the health and wellbeing of your kids and yourself come first. entertaining others happens when everyone is well and ok, not with sick kids/frazzled parents etc.

anytime dh suggests having his mum over, unless we are all up to it, I say no. I can't stand people over when I'm sick or bub is unwell.

too bad I say, they can come another time.

    I am tired.

Have been forcing myself to go out for a walk despite lack of sleep. Not sure if it helps but surely it is better than being cooped up at home.

Today I also wanted DS to get some fresh air. So he had a nice ride in the pram while I puffed up the hills lol.
