Unfortunately he isn't capable of resettling into a deep sleep. Frucking reflux.
Hugs. It sucks. I am up atm too. DD was up for over 2.5 hours. She was feeding and feeding and of course threw up everything. And fed again. And threw up again.

I have finally got her to sleep somewhat. She is grunty and I am guessing it will be a long night here too.

Lucky DS is in childcare tomorrow so I will just veg out as much as I can.

Thanks. I got him down for an hour. So I have had one hour sleep tonight yay. I have to try get him down again or I am pretty sure I will die tomorrow. My early evening 'sleep' is the only thing that is keeping me alive atm literally, when he wakes early it means it's going to be a looooooong night ahead. No relief until next night, assuming I can get him down & out. DH away for work.

I am scaring the bejeezuz out of myself reading various forums on google about infant reflux. I honestly didn't know how bad it was or difficult to treat. Really worried how this is going to affect our lives. Why is this not a more talked about problem?!

Dd1 had awful reflux but grew out of it around 4 months. Hopefully is the case for you too xxx
It is quite common but google covers all the horror stories. Most turn out not to be the case.

I am exhausted already. DS screamed the house down this morning refusing to go to childcare. Not sure what else I can do to make it easier for him.

I am having a proud mummy moment. Dd's teacher emailed me to let me know that dd has gone from getting 27/100 sight words last term to 87/100 today. So impressed. Amazing what being able to see the words properly will do though. Those glasses are worth every penny.
