They measure the LUtinizing hormone that peaks 24-48 hours before you ovulate.

I'm a little confused. Cd6 lower back feels like period pain, no af anymore though, and just had some ewcm? Surely clomid won't make me O that much earlier??

I hope my opks have arrived today!!!!!!

Congrats to those with faint lines, fx for darker ones tomorrow!

And sorry to those who have had AF rock up uninvited , all the best for May.

AFM, I'm stressing I'm going to have another crazy long cycle
Cd 14 here and no smiley on my digital opk. Fx it's not another 50 day cycle, I'm just so. over. the waiting...
Waiting to O, waiting to test, waiting for AF, waiting for AF to go. Gah. It's all just waiting. I'm not a patient person! Lol.
Little bit of EWCM today but nothing much to get excited about, so hopefully o isn't too far off.

@brodiesmummy2011 I feel your pain. We are in very similar situations, 10th cycle, multiple chems, one child and desperately trying to give her a sibling. I got rid of my IVF private health cover after falling preg with DD first try. Now I need it back but the waiting period is two years! We also bought a big house to grow our family and it's just not happening. I started Vitex and worked reducing my long cycles for about 3 months and this month ovulation has gone awol. Should of ovulated on the weekend but the opk's are still negative. Have a fertility specialists appointment in 3 weeks. I was so hoping I would conceive before the FS appoint. Feeling frustrated!

Oh hon it sucks hey . I've only just ovulated early today, cd29! It's earlier than usual (by about 2-3 days, lol) but still means waiting a lot longer each unsuccessful cycle to try again. Fingers crossed O comes soon for you

My OPK's today are much lighter so negative - seems a quick surge! I had a good 8 hours of cramping/ovulation pains early this morning and my cm turned creamy. If my temp doesn't confirm tomorrow I'll deadset lose it . If I did indeed ovulate, vitex has brought it on by a couple of days, increased my already ample ewcm and has actually given me pains!! My partner said maybe I'm releasing a few eggs like a chicken .

    Hi @Tassiemummy

Sorry to hear you are going through something very similar. Its so hard when its not happening, or it is happening, but they aren't sticking

I really think these health cover companies need to be a bit more compassionate! 2 year wait?? Wtf?? Not everyone decides to wait 2 years before they have a baby!

What date is your fertility specialist appointment?

I'm just seeing a gp/gynae for now, and she has put me on clomid x

My appointment is on the 4 May. I could of got an earlier appointment but was giving myself one more cycle. I'm not sure what they are going to do as I am ovulating, confirmed by temping, and ultrasound shows a health uterus. Only problem I see is irregular cycles and maybe my eggs aren't healthy enough. I know feeling negative doesn't help and need to be more positive and imagine that baby dust falling over us.

That's awesome that you've got so many O symptoms! Ha, with such pains, maybe it will be multiples! 😜How long have you been on vitex?

This is my second cycle on it, and on cd14 last month I got a positive OPK, and ovulated two days later, so not looking like I'll have the same length cycle this time. The irregular cycles are such a PITA.

Fx for a temp rise tomorrow for you!

This is my first cycle with it!! Was hoping it would shorten my cycle somewhat. Not sure 2 or 3 days really counts though . I got my first ever positive OPK's yesterday, was so excited to finally be ovulating. Hopefully you get a positive tomorrow and don't have a crazy cycle
