Congrats Tinker. Why was it unexpected?
After a slow start, the girls have taken the lead! 💖
I have my morphology on Saturday, but we're going to keep it a surprise I'm actually surprised at how many people find out... I thought it would be more 50:50
I had a dream the other night that we called the baby Emma (not a name that either DH or I would shortlist?!?), so could be a girl 💖
Barca the wives tale is that whatever you dream, you have the opposite ;-)
Thanks everyone, we're very excited!
It was only unexpected as everyone almost had me convinced that we were having a little boy - even 2 sonographers hinted that way in earlier scans... I wasn't really convinced either way, although when organising our gender reveal pinata cake, to suprise our families with this weekend at a family BBQ, I only ever pictured pink lollies inside it!!
Our families will be suprised, I think the current tally is 22 boy vs 3 girl!! Ha ha ha!
We are just happy our little one is happy & healthy!
I was hoping to tap into your experience because my Nov/Dec DIG is quieter.
Today is 9w1d for me (so I am very much behind all of you) and all of a sudden, I feel quite a bit of abdominal pain. It's not the jabbing type of pain but feels more like the uterus is suddenly very stretched. It almost feels as if the skin / flesh is too tight for a sudden growth spurt if that makes sense. It's worse when I'm on my feet / walking but feels better when I lie down. When I walk, I almost have to keep my hand on my tummy to "support" / hold it all the time.
Has anyone had this experience? I just came back from my first OB visit yesterday and wished it had appeared earlier so that I could have asked and I am now wondering whether I have cause for concern and should go back and see the doc? 😥
Thanks in advance!
Pregnant for the first-time?
Not sure where to start? We can help!
