Definite kicks but some flutters as well. It's so awesome but feels like it's taken forever! I'm 21 weeks tomorrow.

Can I ask if your a bigger girl or not? (Don't answer if too personal) but just wondering as I'm 15 weeks but a bigger girl so I am assuming I won't feel any for a while but every night I'm still hoping! People say the best time you will feel something is lying down ! But then i have read that everyone is different so it's hard to tell.... But I'm so desperate to feel something! Lol. Somethings I thought I felt flutters but them found reasons they weren't, gassy/hungry/just a normal sensation. I'm assuming I'll know once it starts happening! 😊

Hi @tassiewife - it may be some time .. I am very petite and I felt flutters on and off from 17 weeks I think but was every few days and none of which at night. I had an anterior placenta so was told kicks would come late. It was just over 21 weeks before I felt a definitive kick.

Appreciate your response and input! I'm starting to get impatient and just wanna feel something! Maybe more so, because I have had a pretty good pregnancy with symptoms etc ! But I will calm down and just settle with my Doppler at the moment. Lol

Completely understandable @tassiewife ... I was so keen as well .. And often thought that little feelings I felt were more my imagination than real. They are amazing once the full kicks and wiggles start. Unfortunately though it's just one more thing we have to be patient and wait ... Think of it as like the two week wait - but at least you have the Doppler for some bonding time!

Tassiewife i am a bigger girl with a posterior placenta. My OB said not to stress too much about whether or not I was feeling movement. But it was so lovely last week when I started feeling definite movement! Just another thing to wait for! 😉
