A lot of rubbish - old receipts, lollypop wrapper, bit of grass, bubbles, a single kids sock, Indian restaurant brochure, school newsletter, napkins, empty mint tin.

    My purse
    Keys
    Tampons
    Lippy/lipbalm.

Wallet, phone, keys, tissues, wipes, pads/tampons, lip balm, band aids, water bottle, snack, sunglasses, sunscreen. If I have the kids I need a couple of nappies for DS and if it's a long outing I'll have their lunch boxes and water bottles and a change of outfits.

I've read a few replies and a few of you have mentioned emergency cash, it's going to sound weird but I'm curious, why? And where do you keep it?

Emergency cash stashed somewhere else in your handbag (not wallet) in case you lose or have your wallet stolen and need it.
Or if you were somewhere & needed a few dollars but had none left in your purse, no eftpos around etc.

i have $20 stashed in my make up compact mirror

I recently cleaned my bag out. In it I found:
    Countless receipts
    A tomato sauce sachet
    Empty lolly wrappers
Old unused chewing gum floating around
    A note book
    A pen
    A purse
    My phone
    Drivers license renewal
    An old drivers license
    Random broken toy bits
    Old tissues
    Hair ties
    A Christmas Carol leaflet

If your worried about making it look full, don't worry. It will happen naturally within a week or two. Lol

    Purse
    House keys and car keys
    Nappies
    Wipes
    Pen
    Toothpaste in travel size
Sometimes a deodorant or body spray
    Some snacks
And I usually leave the house with a water or juice bottle and my DS's drink bottle.
